    Is what redundant?
Ah okay i didnt see that, with the security, ill let them off :)

Have you ever been to a game in england? I used to go almost every week but its too expensive now, almost £30 pounds to watch second tier football, its a joke. Ive no sympathy with english clubs facing admin or going bust because of their spending, its the genuine fan who has lost out and been f***ked over by the clubs paying crazy wages and raising ticket prices.

The result is the heart of the game has been ripped out, the working man struggles to pay to go to the games, and his place has been taken by a more plastic fan who'd rather sit in the stadium taking photos of himself to show everyone on facebook that he had a day out at the emirates or old trafford rather than actually support his team, hence theres no atmosphere at english grounds.

But we have huge queues)) Try buying a drink at half time and ull miss half of the second half.

What do you expect us to do? i saw a river fan get punched in the face and thrown into the street and almost run over by a cab after a bunch of quilmes fans attacked him... that got the the cops to act finally... this was right on Libertador in downtown Nuñez one of the 3 main residential areas of Buenos Aires... yea its all our fault

Trust me tonight was the first time i was actually scared about attending a futbol match... i took the subte to congreso and walked to the stadium and there were tons of quilmes fans starting shit with us... if you've been to nuñez you know its a family neighborhood.

not saying there aren't river fans that cause trouble, but i've never been afraid walking down libertador in a river jersey in my life before tonight. Blame Cristina and her Federal. They completely dropped the ball. There were families and little kids, most of whom weren't even going to the game and they had to see this shit

Hey congrats that u was at the game, most of us on here are too far away so fair play. Did you go alone?

I dont care who starts the shit, if its river fans, boca or whoever, its wrong and needs to stop. If they wanna kill each other just open up the stadium on a weekday and let the idiots go at eachother.

How did it happen? I thought away fans are usually strictly escorted to and from the ground?

I went with 2 friends... There were Quilmes fans just running down libertador... I was legitimately frightened... I mean this is one of the busiest roads in the city and there were families and little kids around. it was bad. they wont even report on this shit in the paper. I don't know how these Quilmes fans were allowed to get so close to the stadium... and they were attacking people who were just going to the game with no bad intentions. really sad to see and poor policing

every time i go to the stadium i go the same by walking down congreso from the subway and i've never had any problems... until tonight. inexcusable from the quilmes fans (who also attacked a bus of river fans coming from la plata) and from the presidenta's police force

damn! what time was this? I was through there about 6:15 or so from congreso just the same and didnt see anything. Ive always felt good to go around there because Ive never even seen an away fan. This makes me a little uneasy but at the same time outside of Almirante Brown, Quilmes would be the first hinchada youd expect this from in B nacional. You should have seen the security goin through here when those two played there were armored cars, helicopters, you name it, (I live in La Matanza, not too far from Almirante Brown). I doubt there will be this issue for other games, they spell Quilmes "Kilmes" on their banner. Who do they think they are Wachiturros on facebook? But really, this is bad and you'd like to see more effort against it.

also for Caruso. When youre playing the biggest game of your season with the chance to take the top spot and you play for the 1 point. Who is the pu,to I ask?

also I dont think they can trace it back, when you pay cash its hard.

I have to admit that it was hilarious, even though I think Caruso Lombardi is an idiot, a mediocre ex-player and coach of la B who talks to much.

As far as I'm concerned, Quilmes may have a glamorous name because it shares its town with the famous brewery, but they really are nothing more than another small equipito de la B that riBer was unable to beat.

so by that logic Independiente is a better club than the two put together.

tell me would you even listen to that argument if someone tried to make it?

One thing you can say on behalf of Independiente is that they haven't gone down to la B yet. :D

But really, the last time Independiente won Libertadores, Chchu Cambiasso was in Jardin de Infantes, and el Kun Aguero was still dancing up and down inside his father's huevos. Hell, even riBer won their measly two copas after Independiente won their last one.

I guess I just dont understand the point of this thread. But I have a weird, sensible view of sports and only really concern with my team. I dont really have anything bad I can say about Club Atletico Boca Juniors, but I just get bothered to the sense of rage the way their hinchada is. And obviously I know River fans are assbags too (all sports fans are) but so many Boca fans are just insoportable to me. It just seems like they always wanna have something to say about my team when their team is the damned champion, go enjoy that you cant do better than that.

I know the way I am isnt really how sports are, but its how they should be. I worry about my teams affairs and not much else. If Boca were near relegation I wouldnt care because it doesnt put my team any closer to a championship.

Theres nothing wrong with a bit of banter, the rivalry is part of what makes it great, some of the anti-boca stuff ive seen i even find funny. Its just that sometimes people on both sides go too far.

I dont like river, but i still respect it as a club.

I guess that went over your head. Riquelme has more international titles by himself than riBer has as a club. Independiente of course has one more Libertadores than us but then again we have more total international titles than Independiente......Of course the one argument the gallinas always come back with is "look how more local torneos we've won" which might be true, it's also true that head to head we have won at least 20 more matches. You'll always be our hijo. You're a big club only in your own mind chamigo.

When we were at the bottom, I still held the same opinion of riBer. It has nothing to do with us being on top right now. My post history shows my opinion never drifts when it comes to riBer.

The other thing is that lately Boca's cantera has been much more productive than riBer's cantera.

That's a bit of an understatement. It seems like after El Cabezon things dried up pretty quickly. Falcao is awesome and Lamela is a fine talent but that was about it. The car accident I believe robbed El Enano of a lot. He might be a serviceable pro but that will be the extent of it. We aren't exactly putting forth the abundance we have in the past but we still produce good youth consistently.

riBer con un equipo alternativo que incluye a Trezeguet no da pie con bola en Catamarca y empata 0-0 con Sportivo Belgrano en el entretiempo.

    A ver si los eliminan...
