A breath of fresh air from all this negative press: http://www.mls-rumors.net/2008/12/editorial-why-miami-fcb-could-help-mls.html
Both Archer and this guy are the two extremes. I think most rational people see it somewhere in between the two. As I side note, I bought my son a Barca jersey at Target. Also, those are the most usless comments ever. From the pointless "Miami will be in MLS in 2010" (gee wonder who that is ) to the even more pointless "F*** Miami F*** Barca."
Miami in 2010 I like it. I like to see that fans in Miami are ready and excited. Nothing wrong in with that Bill.
You got it. The two extremes are also illustrated quite well here on BS. The reality is that Miami has a decent bid, and while there are some preconceived notions about Miami/South Florida as a sports market, it has just a good a chance to be chosen as anyone else. It's not the best, it's not perfect, however I think the owners and the market balance out the questionable aspects of the bid(shared stadium, potential Chivas USA type situation) and make Miami just as strong of a candidate as any other potential city.
