Januzaj is an exciting player. Makes things happen and is the one starter today that made me a little nervous. He's going to give other clubs a headache for a long time to come.

Also, a bloody good way to clear an ugly Scrabble rack if playing with nouns-allowed rules :D

Good young player but could show a little class on how to treat the ladies.

He's 18. I don't think we need to worry about his personal life too much yet. That's the last thing we want to start scrutinizing. It'll make him feel less comfortable.

It's a bullshit story. The ******** does some girl on social network think she's gonna deserve. He's still an 18 year old kid.

Eff that, stupid slag thinks she deserves some uber expensive first date? First dates shouldn't be multiple hundreds of dollars, she was a gold digging hoe.

Well done Adnan; goes up even higher. Compare him to Wayne at 18.

    What's wrong with Nando's? :D It's not like it's Taco Bell, KFC or McDonald's....

Adnan just demonstrated that he has the mental capabilities to become a star in the future. Congrats! Brilliant!

I take it that Nando's is our equivalent to Denny's, Norm's (SoCal restaurants), or Wild Wings?

He is a United player and she was probably a fan. He could have just taken her to somewhere nice because she got dressed up and probably felt embarrassed going to a place like that and overdressing. It doesn't help that he showed up with trainers on.

The boy could have the decency to tell her where they are going. Imagine if we did that to a girl in real life. She was dressed nice and expecting anniversary dinner but we take them to Baja Fresh. I'm not comparing this to an anniversary dinner but you lads get the idea.

His attitude is very bad and arrogant. Just because he's a United player, it means he doesn't have to do anything for anyone? Very arrogant attitude. Chivalry makes for a better news story than this. So you treat the hag a good time for one night. Lesson learned.

Lets pretend she wasn't a gold digger and he had potential to meet someone real nice. The young lady gets prepared for a nice evening and he disrespectfully takes her to McDonald's and wearing his training gear. No woman would like that. Gold digger or not, he would have killed his chance with a decent girl too.

If she was so embarrassed, her picture wouldn't be in a popular newspaper.

McDonald's and Nando's are also not really comparable. The kid is still young and probably learning how to deal with women.

I don't take it as him being cocky or arrogant. He is simple, there is nothing wrong with that. If she dressed up like that and he did that, then they are definitely not for each other, or worth a date.

Lol are we seriously having this discussion? You are criticizing an 18 year old kid for how he goes out on a date?

    Just shut up already.

If Januzaj hit it at the end of the day, then at least he saved some money.

    Its really not that serious.

If the young girl has a problem with it, then let her walk. I'm sure there are plenty young women who would eat at nandos everyday, just to hqng out with a professional footballer

I'm completely unfamiliar with all of those but Denny's.

We have Nando's here in the mid Atlantic. It's miles better than any fast good joint and it doesn't have a diner atmosphere. The food quality is a lot better.

My only issue with this story is that he wore his warm up suit. Would this girl dress up like she did if it was just an average Joe? The fact she had certain expectations should tell it all. I guess there was no mention of his personality, etc.

Like I said, if it was a date, he could have done better. Show a little class.

If it was just a meet and greet, like meeting your favorite player, I have no problems with him being in training gear and going to a casual place.
