a really good point brought up is that BR is also protecting Migs now with this as lately Migs has started to get criticized. By saying no unequivocally to Reina it places more faith in Migs for the run-in.

I don't think that response to Reina had anything to do with protecting Migs, not that he needs protecting, but everything to do with how Reina left.

Mignolet could break his leg tomorrow and I doubt very much that Reina would be in Rodgers plans.

Or the other way around. A player like Pepe wouldn't forgive being palmed off like that. He'd accept it and move on. Seems he has a good relationship with Rafa and is playing well.
He was good with us and stayed during a difficult period when the 'media' had him moving on.

Fabio Borini scores the opener against Man City in the League Cup Final. I'd say he's earned the right to come back and play for us again. Successful loan.

I'm liking Borini's play and attitude this year. Will be glad to have him back as an option for us next season.

Coady and the Blades win their 10th straight with CC getting the assist on the only goal of the match. His stock is rising even if he never makes another first team appearance at Liverpool.

I caught a few Almería games at the beginning of the season and Suso was getting regular minutes and more importantly, was getting a few assists and was even among the goals at times.

If you are in the States and have BeIn Sports Andre Wisdom is on right now with Derby against Nottingham Forest

Connor Coady with a brace tonight. 2-0 Sheffield United.

While I think his future lies elsewhere, it's been a very productive loan spell. Good for him.

If we're able to grab a 1-2 million quid for him it pays for half the academy's costs for the year.

Given the varied speed at which a number of players have developed, and how much we have spent on average bench players, I see little reason to jettison just yet.

Heal quickly - we'll need the 4m you'll generate in transfer fee and wage savings.

He spent almost a decade in Holland, he's probably more familiar with rain than he is with the sun.

Coady was pretty useful yesterday in the game against Hull. He should earn himself a permanent move and 2m for our bank accounts.
