If he can get some quality game time at Sunderland, and continue to score (learn to score in the EPL), he'll be welcome back! With some of the potential quality they are developing, LFC looks pretty good down the road...I would much rather develop our own talent than go out and buy it from someplace else...
Exactly...with the mix of kids coming through the LFC Academy, and the youngsters we've purchased in the past two or three years...at "reasonable" fees...I'd like to see some of those "kids" make it into the first team...I thought Jay Spearing and JonJo Shelvey were going to be a go (although I can understand why they were "moved on")...and Martin Kelly still has hope...along with Wisdom, Sterling, Ibe and some others...as well as some of the younger kids - who I admittedly don't know much about... I guess my point is that I'd like to see some of the players in the youth ranks make it to the LFC first team, rather than be sold to raise money to buy new players...I think that is how a club should be run.
love watching the youth team and the u21's and spend more minutes than anyone imagining what-if scenario's BUT if we make the CL this season it will be a case of catch up or get left behind.
Yes - if we make the CL, we will have to buy some quality to compete on two fronts...but what an opportunity to "blood" some young talent as well. Not all of the CL games are against Barcelona or Bayern Munich.
Another Suso assist, I think that is 5 in the league this season. We are going to have a great player this time next year
As nice as it would have been to have him around when Coutinho was out, his loan spell is certainly proving to be a fruitful one. Getting lots of playing time in Spain will be better for his development than what he would have gotten here, although I do worry that he may want to stay in his homeland.
Borini starts on the bench for Sunderland against City. Clearly some work to be done to convince of ability to start, I guess.
Oh dear. How do you drive into that-- was he not watching where he was going? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...m-forced-abandon-100-000-Porsche-mud-pit.html
Suso's peformances getting noticed by the media. He is still a teenager! http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11096/9020837/suso-blossoming I think Suso will be a great asset for us next season. It will be the second coming of Jesus into the team!
http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/suso/profil/spieler_111961.html Transfermarkt says summer of 2015! Hope they getting a new one together!
Borini with another goal and an assist vs Chel$ki...perhaps one of the strikers we're looking for is not so far away?
Borini needs to score a few more goals, but he is seemingly getting more game time now. There's still hope for him. Assaidi is playing well enough that we can at least get what we paid for him next summer, and should we make the top 4, we can consider keeping him around for depth. Suso's playing so well that I'm a bit worried about Barca and Real trying to take him away from us in the summer. Wisdom's getting some much-needed game time, although admittedly I haven't watched any Derby County matches, so I have no idea how he's doing.
Wisdom has made 9 appearances for the Rams according to their official site. They are 4th in the Championship at the moment.
