Lots of sources sure he won't play.

Huge blow. Dortmund ver reliant on him to play natural game, especially against an opponent he's been so stellar against every time.

Especially with Santana being awful recently.

Santana has mostly been "awful" with Hummels. Santana is usually better with Subotic.

Still, I would much rather have Hummels.

I can't help but wonder if Hummels wasn't poisoned.......

This is going to be a tough match, and we are without Ribery, which limits our options somewhat. That being said there really is no excuse to fail yet again given the injury crisis in Dortmund and the fact that this is a home game for us.

I hope to see a great match, and no injuries on either side.

If he is, he is surely pushing through some pain as players seem to do nowadays. Not a good idea if he's not fully fit or feeling well.

Potential Hummels absence much bigger blow though, don't you think?

I don't think Bayern are that reliant on Ribery as many think. I think they are reliant on him when he's on the pitch but when he isn't playing, Bayern doesn't change how they play at all and have more than coped.

Nope he is not playing, as far as i know his spine still hurts from the last match vs Bayern when Kroos send him to the store to buy cigarettes. :ROFLMAO:

Of course it is a bigger blow, which is why I referenced BVB's injury crisis and stated that we have no excuses if we lose tonight.

Everything I see points to you guys getting this done in grand fashion.

But let's see how it turns out after 90 minutes.

Agree on hoping to see a great match and no injuries on either side.......

Think you are right footy. With the form and lack of injuries to key players for Bayern, they have to be huge favorites to walk with this thing.

    That and the revenge factor.

Add in the fact they didn't get the job done the last time they had us in Munich, and they should be totally motivated to end this BVB unbeaten streak against them.

No 120 minute match puleeez, and no PKs FFS!!! ;)

Edit: On a side note...wonder how much this will affect the players, Pep is reportedly going to be in attendance. I expect Gomez to 'overplay' if he gets any time. :(

Kicker Headline: "Die Vorspeise kommt aus Stuttgart".

For Bayern fans that reads "The appetizer comes from Stuttgart". :sneaky:

For Bavarians that reads "De Voaspeise komma aus Schwobn".

I don't think anyone believes this is in the bag. But I still subscribe to the idea that this whole thing is pretty much decided today.

    Goetze and Reus for BVB

    Mandzukic missed penalty
    Gomez goal in 80th minute

That should keep the Bayern transfer boards interesting

Lewondoski scores the game winner but goes to celebrate with the wrong bench.:sneaky:

    Or....

Lewa scores an own-goal for BVB giving Bayern the win and then announces his transfer to Bayern in tomorrow's press.
