You are right, he is not.

To be honest I am not overly comfortable with this thread. Obviously there are occasions when we can all throw rocks at someone (Salgado on Sunday for instance) but when we have a game like tonight's when some were worse than others, some struggle doing certain things and others look rusty...but no one had a really diabolical game...I think this thread is a bit harsh.

Secondly I think the thread will at some point explode into arguments and name calling...and I'm getting to old for it.:(

Anyway...I guess I'll just spend the rest of the season nominating Ronaldo until I get it out of my system.

I agree - after a game like the one yesterday I really don't see the need to post. Salgado deserved it for sure after the Valladolid match, but thankfully no one was that bad against Betis. I guess it depends on the view of this thread - whether it's for punishing players who had a stinker or for singling out a worst player just for the sake of it.

It's all relative, the idea is to identify the weakest link every game but not to hang him.:D

I will not award 1st place points unless someone has 7 nominations, 2nd place points unless someone has 5 nominations, or 3rd place points unless someone has 3 nominations.

So there has to be some sort of consensus for me to give out points. If someone is accumulating enough nominations then it was obvious he was weaker than the rest.

This thread is for those who have amnesia at the end of the season and can't remember that certain players had bad stretches. :D

By the way, I will close voting for any game 7 days (1 week) after the actual game was played.

That should be more than enough time for people to vote.
