Kewell's back home with muscle strain.

Still no word on the extent of William's knee injury.

    Wilkshire---Neill---Spiranovic----Zullo
    Emerton----McKay---Valeri---Brosque
    ------------Holman--Kennedy

Thanks Z-man for starting up the thread. I've had a busy weekend- welcomed another addition to the family.

I was meaning to post this, even though we all knew about it:

Not much to get excited about at the moment. Just when it looked like the bad days of pragmatic Pim were in the past... We won't qualify for Brazil if this keeps up...

Eh, he needs to work out the midfield basically. I can see why he's loath to re-jig it mid-campaign, as Pim rightly recognised stability is a virtue in long campaigns, but the CM combo is just not getting us control of games.

Hopefully he'll spend the next couple of months experimenting but I do have concerns - Pim loved him some 4-2-3-1 but he did play the odd 4-4-2 and who can forget 4-6-0? Holger's not sent us out in anything other than this 4-4-1-1 for his whole tenure. He might have some kind of grudge against 1/3 striker systems, and if he does we are ********ed.

Yeah but being a scouse git, he probably spent most of the time figuring out where to fit the kid in.
