trying to do a rss feed for this one: http://www.swfc.co.uk/page/Home/0,,10304,00.html for a sheffield wednesday group.... what am i doing wrong?
Huss: I insist, you don't have time to fix all the squads. Why not just let the people do it??? Believe me, If someone else messes with other people's teams, the fans will deal with it. Or you could make it a serious offense worthy of a red card. Please give it some consideration. Oh, and yeah... how do you add the Rss feeds?
Thank you Huss! And I simply copy and paste? I tried that and it didn't work. I am trying to put this in our Social Group rss feed... but I be that is obvious....
Not really a bug so much as a factual error, but Amdy Faye is listed on the Newcastle squad list and he hasn't played for us in years. That and Kazenga LuaLua's flag (DR Congo) doesn't come up.
crikey i can't find hoe to get there anymore... what do i do to get to that page to add an rss feed? andhow do we get a pic in out little logo box?
it didn't.... i added to the links set though... how do I get rid of this ... and add a team badge...?
I think you need a mod to do it for you. There's an edit group link at the bottom of each group but you may not be able to see it.
Real Madrid Squad List GK Roberto Gago is not one of our keepers, he is I believe at Recreativo Huelva. Palanca and Bueno are Castilla players and not part of the first team squad despite playing some games with the first team. Klas Jan Huntelaar is now at the club although the transfer does not take effect until the window opens, it might be worth adding him now.
nope. the official name is Red Bull New York. New York Red Bulls is an accepted nickname, but the official name is still RBNY Also, the Austrian Bundesliga is listed as "Bundesiga 2" and Red Bull Salzburg FC is not listed in the dropdown. there is an FC Salzburg... could that be in its place? should be fixed.
The community feature doesn't work for me on the DC United community. There is no javascript working for me on the fan image. I had clicked on it previously, but it didn't join me to the community. I was able to join the Blackburn Rovers and Washington Freedom communities, so the functionality seems a bit selective. Oh, and the name on the left nav only says 'Washington'. I guessed correctly that it was the Washington Freedom. I suggest that 'Freedom' be added to 'Washington'.
Thanks for the team name correction. When I went to the sections I clicked 'fan' on DC United, on Blackburn, on Fenerbahce and on Washington. I was added to the community on the latter three, but not the first. I assume that having clicked on 'fan' once, that the javascript is disabled for me for a second try. I don't get the mouse-over hand when I hover over it. Let me be more specific. I see my avatar on Rovers, Freedom and Fenerbahce. I do not see it on United. I assume that means I was added to the community on the former and not on the latter. It may be that I was added to the latter but that my avatar link didn't make it [but I don't think so...see the second to last paragraph, added after I did a bit more exploration]. If I'm right about what was supposed to happen, it's the community joining function that didn't do what I expected it to do on the DC United community. Of course, it could be that I don't really understand what these are supposed to do, since I've not found an explanation anywhere. I also see that I am in the Rovers, Freedom and Fenerbahce social groups, but not United's. Kind of indicates that the join function didn't work. At this point I have no way to join the United community (could be they want it that way ). My intent with this bug report isn't focused on the joining...it's that what happened indicates a bug that may affect others.
The DC United supporters group is non-functional. I made my "join request" weeks and weeks ago. Still not listed. Only people listed are two mods.
Do me a favor. You must have an regular user account that you use for testing purposes. Sign into that and try to join.
