A very sad day for Pierre-Emil Höjbjerg and his family. According to unconfirmed, but believed to be reliable, reports his father lost the fight against cancer. I think most of us can relate to losing a loved one through illness, it is a terrible and very frightening thing at this age. Let's hope he'll get all the help he needs and wants, I know the Bayern officials have a close eye on the situation.
Really sad.. hope Pierre recovers well. Anyway, where's Thiago with his recovery, any updates anyone?
As they should be right now. They both need to start in all the remaining comps.. Ribery needs to refresh for next or something.
Pep's presser "I already said it in Madrid and I'm going to say it today it again. I'm very, very proud of my team. Even prouder today. We showed so much courage, had more chances, more corners, more crosses. I like my team. Real have outstanding talent going forward. It's impossible to not allow them a single chance over the 90 minutes and that won't be the case on Tuesday either." I will rotate tomorrow, but not lots of players. Rafinha is suspended so I will have to make changes. Ribery ran the highest besides Alaba. He always gives his all for the team. I'm here to help and support him. I'm sure he will be important for us on Tuesday. Javi Martinez has had lots of injury problems from the beginning, never reached 100% fitness. He's very, very important for us. He needs to train every day to regain his fitness. I like to keep the ball and to keep it away from the opponent, but sometimes that allows them to have more chances. They have good legs, are quicker than us. They are the best counter attacking side in the world. It's risky to play forward. We're 1-0, down, Tuesday we will have to attack. Maybe we will make some changes for the second leg. We can allow them the ball, but then they have the ball. We have to a better job attacking the small spaces. Sometimes you have to adjust to the opponent a little. 90% of the clubs in the Bundesliga sit deep against us. My philosophy? There's a different culture in Germany. Here they also like counter attacking sides like Dortmund or Real Madrid." http://www.abendzeitung-muenchen.de...enz.13de5544-1f78-4018-8ee7-8b23c7850a3d.html
Play the first half like we mean it, withstarters for tuesday and then throw in the fodder in the 2nd half. Our season is effectively over if we get a bad result on Tuesday,
Honestly I have reached a point where I say whatever happens, happens.. I am proud of the team and what they had to overcome. I look forward to next season with lewandowski and everyone fully healthy from the start
