My only concern regarding Pep is his lack of progress at learning and improving his German.

We all said that 3 years ago when he was at Barca and they still managed to run him out of town. Beckenbauer is influential enough to start trouble if Bayern falls short somehow.

The biggest criticism of Guardiola's stint at Bayern has stemmed from foreign fans (specially American), I think. It seems that their impression of the club does not fit the reality and what they see in the team now is not what they 'signed up for'. Most of the Bavarians I know who support Bayern absolutely love him.

It seems a lot of these clowns watched bayern in the barca semifinals and based all their assessment on that..
