Yes, give me a solid run to the semi-final please, without having to play the big guns. This is why having a double figure lead by Christmas could work in Bayern's favor as we can rotate the entire team in the league before playing in the Champions League. But yes, please no Chelsea or Madrid. And no I don't want revenge, I wanted revenge against Inter and we saw what happened there. I don't know how I would react if Chelsea beat us again this year...

Chelsea vs Barcelona, United vs Madrid r16 please :)

I've always found the "lets plays all the best teams to beat to show how good we are" mentality rather ridiculous. Give me the cup, I don't give a shit who we beat along the way. I just want the ********ing cup.

I've had some sympathy for that view in the past, especially when I thought Bayern had something to prove to itself ahead of the final rounds, but the successes of the last few CL campaigns should be enough to prove to this team that they can go head-to-head with anyone in Europe.

Win the group and then just get the draw over with. Would be nice to have an easier draw, but I don't see the need to fear anyone and I'd hope that they've learned to respect everyone after so many near misses.

Just knock 'em down -- whoever is in front of us -- and we'll be okay.

I don't fear any team either since we have no reason to. However, I want an easy or one of the easier draws all the way up to the semi-final. Once you are there, in 3 games, anything goes.

Yah as I mentioned before I don't care who we play in the semis... The CL semis are the 4 best teams anyway, you can't really avoid it..

However I just wouldn't want some team like Chelsea or Madrid right before reaching the semis... Anything can really happen there and it would really suck not getting to the semis at least...

This year honestly, I would love to get CL trophy but if we get to the semis I would be happy. As long as we take back the league ;)

I am hoping we play Celtic or Cluj R16, then like an Arsenal/Milan, then Schalke in the semis ;)

    Who's in!

This is the Line up I could find for todays friendly:

    --------------------------Starke-----------------------
    Rafinha------------Daniel Wein-------Dante----------Contento
    -------------Gustavo-------------------Weiser------------------
    Weihrauch----------------Pizarro--------------------Hojbjerg-----
    ------------------------------Gomez-----------------------------

Don't know if this is correct, maybe they Swichted Weiser with Hojbjerg

he could have scored a lot more in Madrid and City and Napoli..and don't forget the chances he missed in the FINAL. I give you that he was quite good in the first half of the last season, but when it came the second half, he was just AWFUL.

Maybe the whole team could have done more in the 2nd half. Compared to the first half we can say the whole team was below par.

Robben was scoring all his penalties in the first half and missing the key ones in the 2nd half, Schweini was fit for most of first half and was injured for most of the 2nd half, Our defence was solid for most of the first half and leaky for most of the 2nd half. The whole team was topping the BL after the first half but trailed by 8 points after the 2nd half

Because other strikers take all their chances, that's probably the reason why he equaled RvN's goal record with 13 goals for a CL season. Only other player that achieved this was Messi and how many goals did he score vs Chelsea? Zero. He even missed a penalty vs them (Gomez converted his in the finale) and most of his goals came against real minnows/Leverkusen. Not that I want to take anything away or say Messi isn't the best player in the world but it's funny that such stuff is always just used against Gomez.

We couldn't convert one out 20+ corners. We couldn't defend the only corner they had. We couldn't close out the game. We couldn't convert the pk we got. We couldn't beat them on penalties, half our guys pussed out..

It was one giant nightmare game that we will never forget..

I think we should fear any formidable opponent, much like any big team would fear us. I would hope we don't face any serious top team simply because it doesn't mean anything. We beat Madrid last season, a team worth about 200 million, and ended up losing yet still.

Yeah, because Mandzukic and Pizarro would totally score a Hat Trick against Barcelona ...
