Noone cares what he did last seasoj. He'll start on the bench soon enough and if he wants it bad enough, he can displace Kroos.

Arjen Robben: New Bayern Munich deal is just a formality http://www.goal.com/en-us/news/1956...en-new-bayern-munich-deal-is-just-a-formality
Great words. Nice to see some realism from Arjen. We can't get too hot headed (ahem FO) and presumptuous when it comes to the CL, or the BL for that matter.
Any word on van Buyten? I read somewhere it may be a possible metatarsal (sp?) fracture which could mean a lengthy spell on the sidelines. I think this is a good thing, I don't care how "well" he's played this season. Maybe we will be forced into buying a real CB sooner rather than later or move Boateng to CB and actually use Rafinha.
Van Buyten out for 6 to 8 weeks http://www.sport1.de/de/fussball/fussball_bundesliga/newspage_509059.html
With the whole v buyten thing......i dont k.ow whether to be really really happy....or sad that one of our players is hurt.....considering how much pain v buyten has caused me i welcome boatengs arrival at central defense with open arms.......hopefully v buyten has a good recovery
Well, I guess this is the only way for Buyten NOT to see playing time ... Too bad is only for 8 weeks, could be for the rest of the season ... Or even better, he could "pull a Foe" and just die ...
dont worry dude, here everybody except u and me consider Daniel a sucker but I know he's a really good defender (Spielnote 2,77 this season), take a look to what have combined yesterday Neuer, Boateng or Badstuber, they're not better than Dick
OK !! Only because Buyten has been OK (and nothing more than that) in a couple of games this season we should forget the major Screw up he's been in his ENTIRE career at Bayern !! Yes !!! TOTALLY makes sense ...
Hopefully Boateng's pace will help in defense and Rafinha can support Robben better, but scapegoating Buyten as the source of all our problems is foolish too. Jupp needs to be careful that his tactical set up does not just become VanGaal Light. Build up is often waay too slow, we hold on to posession so religiously that our play becomes extremely predictable: players will pass backward as soon as they are put under pressure, DMs or defenders will then spray passes out wide and we pray someone on the flank can make it through. When you look at Barca's emphasis on possession, a huge component of it is also penetration. Their players are constantly in motion and seeking to form new triangles to break through defenses. I'm not saying we should play like them but positional rigidity like Van Gaals and what is visible on shite games like yesterday ends up really hurting us. I see a pattern of defeating Bayern. Teams that organize their defense and sit relatively deep just wait, because they know we won't penetrate if they have two solid rows of four. Then they wait for an error, mispass, or general wasted turn over and play a quick counter attack. It's how two goals yesterday were scored, though not Neuer's mistake. It's also how Dortmund has outplayed us for a season and a half now. Any smart coach, like Lucien Favre, can take advantage of this fatal flaw of ours.
