Looks like Heynckes prefers Javi in a more advanced role with Schweini behind him.

It's just a friendly but if we play like this in the second half of the season, good things are coming for us

nevermind, its a 4-0 demolition and no one seems intent on playing besides ribs.

I would like to see Javi as CB in the second half, and Gustavo on. Also Robben, Shaq and Can on.

There's no such thing as a bad penalty when the ball goes in ... ;)

They're clearly getting out of control.

He shoots after the goalkeeper flys and then he does it secure. If the goalkeeper waits he shoots it further into the edge and he has the time advantage. You should not look how the ball is shot but how he works the whole situation.

I think thats how Ballotelli does too. I have often thought Ballotellis penalties were soft but no one till now has been able to stop his penners

Heynckes is clearly no LvG in promoting youths. LvG would have used Can or promoted Wein

DvB replacement. But if Can earns some minutes at CB and does well he'll line himself up for Tymo's spot on the roster next season as a utility defensive sub.

Seems like a smart move from Heynckes. Can's response will tell if he's got a good team attitude and will grow from the bench or if he's better off loaned somewhere.
