And I'd be privileged not to know who Snoop Dogg is.

    Laaaaaaaaaaaaameeeeeeeeeee :p

Hmm, I don't see anything too contentious about this statement. Dante has been the best defender on one of the, if not THE, most statistically dominant defensive units in Europe this season. Who do you think has performed better than epicafrosamurai?

I don't think its wise to say someone is the best if they've yet to comment against top opposition. Its not that I disagree with anything, Dante has been absolutely superb and unshakeable, but who has he come up against this season? These are things to consider.

I think Nastasic has actually been phenomenal for City, he's been so empirical to their defensive stability and unbelievably consistent and a very well rounded defender. I'm not saying Dante hasn't been the best, sure - he's been exceptional, and might very well be the best, but I still have to see more, much more.

Hey, but I know Kool and the Gang. That must count for something, right?

By the way, I admit that I heard of Snoop Dog by name before but I never consciously listened to any of his music so still I don't know anything about him. I admit I have prejudice against rap music, is that bad? Hip Hop, too. :whistling:

Some rap/hip hop is good, very little of it. Same goes for all popular music which is packaged to sell. Imo.

Pep Guardiola's move to Bayern Munich delights Arjen Robben
    bbc.co.uk

A short interview with Arjen Robben on Football Focus.

I don't know but hopefully there won't be any kind of IP block for folks outwith the UK for this.

Not a huge amount of substance in it: Impressed & excited with the choice but keen to stay focused for the rest of the existing campaign.

Notice how he runs on his toes, I think that could be a big part of his recurrent injuries

    Jupp on the Marios

"According to the critics, I never should have played Mandzukic. I obviously have different criteria to judge a player. Every striker goes through goal droughts from tiem to time. Each of our three strikers has different strengths. Gomez had problems with his ankle during training camp while Mandzukic played well and scored goals. Then it's clear that the coach prefers him at first.
Mandzukic worked incredibly hard for the team in the first half of the season and he's doing the same thing now.
Looking back at the last season, having a striker like Gomez will be important in the next weeks."

LvG valued Gomez more than Heynckes, probably

the biggest strength of Mandzukic and the strength that Heynckes values the most i guess is that Mandzo is like a horse running for 90 min tracking back no matter who the opposition is. Against Furth i saw Mandzukic three times tracking back almost as a left back or right back he never gives up

Gomez tracks back a lot as well on defense. It's one of the things I respect about him. If he is still feeling the effects of his surgery, however, it might make him less able to track back as much as he normally would. In a case like that I can see why Mario 2 would get the call.

He specifically said he won't be coaching at least until his TV contract is up in 2014.

Looks like he doesn't have the attitude for coaching and rather takes the easy money for less work in TV

Why judge him? I don't see anything wrong with that.
