Still keep thinking how many goals PJY would have converted if he were given as many chances as Defoe...

Sadly thats not the way Redknapp works it seems. I'm giving up hope in that one.

Why do you keep bothering to beat a dead horse?

In other news, Aston Villa just sacked McLeish. They definitely need to buy in some positions this summer. And depending on who gets appointed, it might not be a bad fit for some of our KNT members.

    Summary:
-Very happy to have won the league.
-He agrees that his worth is closer to the media's valuation (6-7 million poounds) than that of Lennons (10 million pounds).
-He won't focus on joining a 'Big' league, rather and more importantly, he would like to join a club where he'll feature consistently.
-He spoke with LCY and they both loved the idea of reuniting again.

My goodness. The idea of LCY and KSY playing for the same team (again) makes me very giddy inside.

that might be tough getting them together. I could see them costing as a bundle around 12-17 mil. But think of the marketing :O

Bild (of so-so accuracy) has Hamburg back on the KJC train.

SonKoo have 2 sets of non scary teeth :D

SHM also appears to be immensely popular with German people already given his handle of the language, his time in HSV youth, etc.

I also will note that this would imply that LCY will be looking to avoid the championship.

So Daglish is gone. The redsox sacked him... http://www.football365.com/liverpool/7760689/Dalglish-sacked-by-Reds-Report

Depending on who the next manager is and whether they clear out all the English (and Scottish) dead weight they bought last year, Liverpool might actually be a decent to great destination for our double dragon or PJY... One can only hope...

Perhaps Roberto Martinez or perhaps someone who has a higher profile? Who knows...

I really like Martinez. I think I remember him fawning over KSY when he called the Korea-Greece match during the World Cup. And Liverpool is KSY's favorite team...

He was fawning over both KSY and LCY. I really believe Martinez will be one of the greats in a few years time.

Btw, it's been reported a current premiership manager has already been approached for the position. Could be Martinez. Could be Rodgers. Or someone else... This will be very interesting...

IIRC, last season there was interest from another team for Martinez but he turned them down in favor of staying with Wigan which endeared him to the owner and the 50 fans that regularly show up at the DW. Most people would have taken the 1st train out of there but maybe the Swansea fans getting on his back after leaving SC affected him.

Anyway, I like Martinez as well-gets the most out of a mediocre squad.
