Jonas Elmer has been released by FC Toronto of the MLS. He only played 3 matches after his transfer in the summer. In addition he did not even train with the club in their most recent preseason training.

Speculation is that he will end up back in Switzerland.

    Interesting comments from Bolton boss:
“I’m looking at markets where you can buy players – Norway, Switzerland, Australia – to see if we can get value for money."

“They are still playing in Scandinavia right now and it’s a fantastic time to go over there. And all our data tells us that Switzerland and Australia are good value for money.”

I wonder what he means good value for money.
