FCSG Brodeur goalie Daniel Lopar (28) has signed an extension to his contract that will keep in in St. Gallen until 30 June 2017. He has been at the club since 2006 and has played 159 matches and has been the starting keeper since 2008/2009.
Incredible I wasn't aware of this I used to follow French football a lot closer and was quite passionate about RC Strasbourg at one time... we know what happened to them... Le Mans was so promising at one time they had players like Coutadeur, Matsui, Sessegnon, etc. Geez what happened?
Those signings by Sion from Le Mans don't bode well for LS! Would like to see LS stay up but not at the expense of my Aarau though.
Sad! In this day and age though these leagues have to be tougher on there teams so I guess this is what happens. I just feel bad for the supporters.
FC Vaduz David Harrer (23) has left the club. He played 18 matches in 2012/2013 but did not play at all this fall. FC Biel Thibault Corbaz (20) joins the club on loan from FC Basel. He played 14 matches for the FC Basel U21 team this fall and scored 3 goals in 14 matches. They have also extended the contacts Steven Ukoh, Pazeller Andre, and Ivo Zangger. Altin Somani has left to join BSC Old Boys. FCSG Marco Mathys (27) has signed a contract extension until 30 June 2016. FC Luzern Haxhi Neziraj (2o), a U21 Albanian international striker has extended his contract for 3 years until 30 June 2017. FC Wil Tabakovic Haris (19) has joined the club on loan from BSC YB until 15 June 2015.
FC Basel Nothing firm yet on the Saleh front, but it looks like Zenit St Petersburg is making a late run at his services. FC Sion Nothing firm yet, but Sébastien Wüthrich may be on his way to either Stade Rennais or Lorient. He is currently loaned to FCSG for the season, but Christian Constantin has said that he would break the loan if he could sell the player. FC Zurich Jorge Teixeira (27) is going to leave the club at the end of this contract in June 2014. Since 2010 when he joined the club, he has played 78 matches and scored 8 goals. FC Biel/Bienne Bastien Geiger (27) is retiring from professional football. FC Vaduz Two players have extended their contracts with the club with the club until 2016. Mario Sara (31) and Franz Burgmeier (31) have signed contract extensions.
FCZ Ivan Kecojevic (25), an Montenegrin international has joined the club from Gaziantespor in Turkey. The deal is until June 2017 FC Wohlen Ivan Benito (37) has left the club. The former staring goalie was injured in August and lost his starting spot. GCZ Levent Gulen (19) has been loaned to Kayserispor in Turkey until the end of the season. FCSG Ilija Ivic (22) has had his contract extended until 2016. He tore some ligaments before the fall round began, and hopes to be playing in the next month or so.
FC Biel/Bienne An Italian/Argentinian Emiliano Etchegoyen (23) has joined the team from Club Atlético General Paz Juniors (4th division) in Argentina. FC Chiasso Joaquim Adao (21) has broken had his contract with FC Sion terminated, thus ending his loan to FC Chiasso. He played in 13 matches this fall, but will return to his native Angola.
Servette Patrick Bruggman has left his position as U16 coach at YB to take the position of director of Servette's youth academy. GCZ Theofanis Gekas has been recruited to fill the hole at forward left as Hajrovic left for Turkey. Gekas is a 33 year old striker who has played for Greece 69 times with 24 goals to his name. FC Lugano Martino Borghese (26) has been loand from Serie B club Spezia for the rest of the season. Borghese is a central defender and played 10 matches in the fall for Spezia. He previously played at Genoa, Bari and Pro Vercelli. FC Winterthur Paulo Menezes otherwise known as Paulinho (31) has joined Winterthur until the end of the season. He formerly played at Lugano, Aarau and GCZ. Deni Simijonovic (21) has left the club after playing only 8 matches this fall. He will join FK Skendija 79 who play in the Macedonian 1st Division. FC Wohlen Mario Schonenberger (26) has left FCSG where is was out of favor and joined Wohlen until June 2016. The defender/midfiender played only 12 matches with FCSG since the start of the 2012/2013 season. This fall he only saw 11 matches wuth the U21 team. Nedim Sacirovic (19) has joine the club on loan from FC Luzern until the end of th season. Sacirovic has been with Luzern since 2004, but has only played once for the 1st team, that being a single match in the 2011/2012 season. FC Biel/Bienne Gaetan Karlen (20) has joine Biel on loan from FC Sion. The U20 Swiss International did not play much for Sion, 9 matches since the Spring of 2013, so a loan was needed to ensure his continued development. FC Aarau Artur Ionita (23) has told the club that he will not be extending his contract after it ends in June. The Moldavian international played 16 matches this fall with 3 goals. Juan Pablo Garat (30) a Argentiaian defender, has extended his contract until June 2015.
FC Winterthur Fabien Ritter (22) has been loaned out from FC Basel to FC Winterthur. He has played 76 matches with 16 goals for the U21 team. Luca Radice (26) is leaving Winterthur after 205 matches with the club and joining Aarau until June 2016. Servette Xavier Margairaz is rumored to be on the way to Servette. The other rumor is Daniel Gygax.
FC Chiasso Alberto Regazzoni (30) has joined the Tessin club from FC Sion. His saga at FC Sion is well chronicled. FC Basel Marcelo Diaz (27) has had his contract extended until 30 Jun 2017. Servette Thierry Moutinho (22) has left the club and joined Albacete Balompie in the 3rd Division in Spain. He joined Servette in 2012, but never was able to force his way into the starting line-up. In face he only played 27 matches total and 5 in the fall.
FC Locarno Carlo Polli (24) has returned to the club. He played in the Spring of 2012 until 2013 with the club where he appeared in 39 matches with 1 goal. Daniel Panizzolo (27) has left the club to join 2nd League AC Sementina. FC Wohlen Two players join the club. Rexhep Thaqi (26) from SC Kriens. Samir Ramizi (22) has played form Stade Nyonnais, Servette and most recently Etoile Carouge. Lausanne Sport Two players have left the club. Ohad Kadusi (28) has left the team to return to Israel. Kadusi plaued in 14 matches. Jesjua Cruyff (20) has left the team without so much as one match with the 1st team. He played 6 times with Team Vaud U21 in the 2nd League Interregional.
Sorry to see Kadusi go thought he was a decent forward, Jesjua on the other hand never really got a real chance.
FC Vaduz Oliver Klaus (23) has had his contract extended until 30 June 2016. The keeper has started 28 matches since he arrived in July of 2011. FC Sion Emiliano Dudar (32) has left the team to return to Argentina. He joined the team in the summer of 2013, but never played for the 1st team.
Servette It looks like Daniel Gygax is not going to happen. Xavier Margariez is a possibility, but according to FC Sion, read Christian Constantin, he owes them 210k CHF to break his contract. Otherwise he will be property of FC Sion for the next two years.
FC Lugano Orhan Mustafi (23) has joined the club on loan from GCZ . He just returned from Ross County in Scotland where he played 7 matches.
Xavier Margariez was linked to LS a while back. I am beginning to think that if you are a "known" name that maybe coming to LS is not a good idea.
