Benfica's youth keeper Michael Rodrigues aka Mika who plays for the Portuguese U-20 is also listed as having the swiss citizenship at times. He grew up in Switzerland. Of course, his parents are Portuguese. guess he is going to play for Benfica later on and maybe for Portugal.

Frei might play for the US on the other hand as he had been approached

with Sommer probably being maybe in the swiss squad as third keeper if the swiss qualify for a tournament, I don't see Hitzfeld giving a chance to Frei unless he would play in Europe

I did not know that Frei had been approached. Was it by Bradley or Klinsmann? I would suspect that when his contract is up, Frei is going to look elsewhere. Toronto FC has been a crazy place, a new manager each season, very poor defense, Frei has faced the most shots each season since he came into the league.

there was something in the press about 2 or 3 months ago, so it was before Klinsmann

Abdi has shown strong preparation matches with Udinese. He scored in the 2-2 draw vs Sporting and he scored 5 as Udinese won 12-1 vs a Tamai regional team

don't remember how he made it on our list. There are some sites who must have listed him as double citizen by mistake like those guys http://www.futbol-talentos.es/Josef_Martinez-3_7-27357-3.html Will take him off again. Anyway, good luck for him at Venezuelas NT team and in Caracas. Besides, the Feltscher brothers got a call from Venezuelas NT team for the match vs Argentina. So, they will have to decide between Venezuela and Switzerland. But at this age, we have lots of promising players so they might have more chances to play for Venezuela.

just saw, that Stefan Marinkovic (Ajax) is missing in the list - time to go through the whole list and update it
