Let´s continue the trend with us showing entire matches. This time around we´ll show Croatia vs. Sweden, friendly game. It is with commentary in Serbo-Croatian. First half from Sweden wasn´t to impressive, but in the 2nd half Sweden awakens and wins in the end 3-1. In the 2nd half we also see better passing game from Sweden. Several more technically skilled players enters the pitch in the 2nd half, including Larsson. Nice to see Guidetti (although he´s a Feyenoorder) doing well in his first match:

    Kroatien-Sverige with serb.-croatian commentary:

In a few days we´ll have the entire IFK Göteborg vs. Lilleström game played today, where Göteborg wins 3-0 after a very good performance.

Örebro is a nice little city, with a beautiful new stadium. There's also a castle that sits in the middle of a river, although you really can't go inside.

Morning!! :p That was some while ago :p Everybody still alive and kicking as I can see :p Saw IFK made a great win against Lillestrom. Do you know who scored the goals?? And what are your expectations for the upcoming Allsvenskan 2012??

And Zlatan is being a king again :p He was the boss in the Croatia - Sweden match!!

Also today in the match Palermo - AC Milan (0-4) he scored a hatrick!

    Welcome back Afca_Mokum! Our supporter-specialist!

Zlatan indeed is in superform at the moment. Both for the Sweden NT and also Milan. He was suspended 3 matches but easily made up for it thanks to his pure hattrick yesterday! The Malmö guy is on fire!

IFK is unbeaten in regular time thus far this season. Expectations are running high since several high class players have entered the squad. Late last year midfielder Haglund came. He´s been steady. Right back Salomonsson from Halmstad is a technically skilled and rapid player. Great aquisition as well. Goalie Alvbåge is bought from Örebro. As is highly technically skilled offensive central midfielder Gerzic. Pontus Farnerud is bought from Stabeak in the Norwegian league. Great passer of the ball. Sobralense have travelled from Kalmar to play for IFK. Can play at different positions, but is mainly an offensive player. Norwegian central defender Waehler is brought over from the Danish League and Aalborg. Steady and experianced with merits as a NT player for Norway. Sportsdirector Mild have opened his spending trousers.

So if IFK isn´t grabbing a top 3 position in the league Angel supporters will be dissapointed. Your IFK Göteborg hopefully then won´t dissapoint you Stefan!

Here is the entire game, IFK Göteborg vs. Lilleström 3-0:

Of course I will follow IFK closely this year! I will also keep my eyes on the Swedish supporters as much as possible and post any interesting pics and movies here ;-)

    Greetings from a happy Amsterdam (Ajax won with 4-1 today! 3th time in a row a 4-1 win! :D :p )

lol. "I don´t have porridge in my throat" it means....

Those t-shirts are directed towards the Southern dialects. Formost the dialects of Scania spoken by Malmö fans and Helsingborg fans. Also dialects spoken by fans of Mjällby, Ängelholm and Kalmar could feel somewhat targeted. I wouldn´t either say that dialects spoken by Elfsborg fans or IFK Norrköping are especially estetic.

Afca_Mokum, last time your swedish club won was in 2007. They fended off Trelleborg in the last match to secure the Championship at the bigger Ullevi stadium with the following pitch invasion (where I was won of the lunatics entering it):

    GEFLE IF 0.80 0.80-1.60
Here's a preseason table. First column is average points won per game and the second column is average scoreline.

Both AIK and Helsingborg have solid defences but their fans are really worrying over where the goals are going to come from this year. Their problems seem to be the polar opposites with AIKs forwards being too young and Helsingborgs forwards too old. The positives are that Celso Borges will soon be back from injury which might help AIK and Helsingborg are looking to bring in one more forward, perhaps on loan.

Iamalfred: Very interesting statistics albeit preseason, but still....

Evigblaa: I will try to make an evaluation in the near future before the season starts. I´m still assessing the different clubs. I hope more of you guys out there will do the same. I am also interested in how you think tippeligaen ends.

But generally there seems to be a big belief in the following teams by so called experts but also fans all around:

    Malmö
    Helsingborg
    Elfsborg
    IFK Göteborg
Some even believe in Kalmar (bit of an outsider as is....

    AIK as always.

Mid-section many believe Djurgården (good preseason, iteresting team), Örebro, GAIS, Häcken

Bottom perhaps Sundsvall, Åtvidaberg, Syrianska, Mjällby

Where we could probably change places between some of the mentioned teams in the two second categories (mid to bottom).

And perhaps one of the mention mid-section team could surprise and mingle in the top category. Gefle is another difficult side to place with certainty.

But I will wait with my assessement a further while. I have a rough feeling but I need to sharpen my senses somewhat. Note that the above written isn´t my thoughts but rather a general feel of the opinion floating around amongst fans and so called experts....

    Allsvenskan as always.....a lottery!!??

I will maybe make a run through to the coming weekend. I hope all you guys out there will write what you yourself think.

My own IFK f.example is looking like a massive project. There is no doubt potential in all those newcomers. But also remeber that it is also a challenge to finetune all the newcomers. Also a new coach with ne strategies and totally different kinds of players as well. IFK is supposed to change their longball style to a technically skilled type of shortpassing style just like that. A big challenge. But sure.....there is potential no doubt.

Seems pretty fair to me. I'm feeling optimistic about Kalmar and Djurgården myself and a bit nervous about Örebro. Think the Kubaner may have a rough start to the season, but I think it will get better in the second half. Am glad to see Gefle back up and hope they can stay up.

This being the Allsvenskan you have to kinda hope that they don't do too well right from the start or you could lose some of that talent to the Eredivisie or Jupiler during the summer window. Kinda felt like that for Örebro last season with a strong start followed by the loss of Almebäck and Bedoya. Too much success at the beginning is a dangerous thing.

(Wonder how Bedoya feels about his transfer to Rangers now?)

I'm not sure how Bedoya feel but I'm pretty sure Örebro and GAIS aren't that happy with Rangers. ÖSK have yet to receive the last part-payment of $230k for Bedoya and I don't think GAIS have received any of the $440k that they are entitled to for Celik.

Going to Rangers was an unfortunate career choice for both players, especially since they both had interest from other clubs. My guess would be that, ironically, Rangers was the club who offered them the highest wages.

Helsingborg and Elfsborg I'd predict to be the top two, with Malmö, AIK, and IFK Göteborg to round out the top five, not sure the exact order, though.

Gefle has been up in the Allsvenskan since 2005, actually, and I'd expect they'll be midtable like last year, as will the other clubs that finished there last season. I expect DIF will be higher than 11th, as they had such a horrible start last year which sealed their fate, so to speak. I'm excited with the new squad, and am anxiously awaiting the season.

The newly promoted clubs, GIF Sundsvall and Åtvidabergs FF are tough for me to say much about, because I haven't seen them play a whole lot, but I expect they'll both survive and stay up.

I don't see Syrianska staying up again, but don't know who else might go down with them.

    We'll just have to see...

    Well here is some thoughts:

    AIK:

Tipped by some to be a real competitor in the race. And yes, off course, normally they are an absolute Giant by most standards. Produced a top-placing last season and should normally do so. But there are some questionmarks like surrounding the loss of the Banguras. They look fairly strong rosterwise sure, but I guess they will try to play somewhat more direct towrads goal and less fancy. Borges is a first class newcomer to the squad. Well done....
So no doubt top half for this club. But do they have that little extra,extra...? Remains to be seen.

    Djurgården:

They´ve dumped players such as Oremo, Igbo (soon),Lyyski. Good, interesting new prospects such as attacker Santos (great preseason), James Keene (former Elfsborg-player) and Bundesliga player Dahlén. Surely this club will drag themselves nearer the section in the league worthy this classic outfit!? 11th place will be bettered. Coach Pehrsson is a coach I believe in, but can this edition lift themselves higher? Unused potential in the roster: Finnish Hämmäläinen hasn´t reached his peak. If DIF are to improve more than to the midsection, guys like that needs to reach their potential.....
Mid-table team.....but a tricky team to get a grasp on since there is clear potential in a few players and who knows, maybe they could even reach Europa spots with the perfect start. The preseason has been good. Really good. (A little lapsis today against Aalesund though).

    Elfsborg:

Coach Haglund had to leave the ship. Expectations are running high in the town Borås. And no wonder why, since their roster has been one of the stronger all since at least 04/05. Classplayers on each spot. New signings like for example hugely talented Claesson. They were unlucky with new goalie Ellegaard as he got injured earlier in preseason. Looking for a new one know I hear. Technically skilled Elfsborg players scattered all around....but poerhaps Nilsson up-font will look a bit lonely. Their attack might be a bit blunt. No real top scorer? Lennartsson has a great roster. But he´ll feel the pressure from the Guliganer. They expect at least Europa places.
Top placing surely with that kind of skillevel in the roster line-up!?

    GAIS

What did the cat drag in.....Oh sorry....GAIS. They succeeded last year and fended off the cocky Bigbrother they wouldn´t even mention on their lips. A merited 5th spot for the Makrillar. Well done. But although veteran Ijeh has signed fro Syrianska and they still posess maybe the best offensive weapon in the league, Wanderson this side normally are in deep waters. Their coach is the tricky Mr. Axén. Can he do wonders again? No not 5th spot but still mid territory. Not bad by their standards. Mervan Celik left earlier. Will he return? A couple of Allsvenskan clubs are hunting him down. Interesting and probably smart signing: Aubynn from the third City pride Malmö.....
Mid-section perhaps as they do have offensive power. They might need a new winger though.

    Gefle

O yeah, they did indeed stay put in the league once again. A hard-working outfit of players will once again under the leadership of coach Olsson try to avoid the relegation. And could they. Looks decent. Competence lost: Chibsah and Theorin. But they were smart signing attacker Oremo from Djurgården Stockholm and Malmborg, the defender.
Bottom half, but can probably avoid relegation.......

    Helsingborg

A magnificant season last year. The Double. Both league and Cup for the Pearl of Öresund. Now they are supposed to succeed both in the league and Europe. A heavy load of expectations on their shoulders. They don´t look that fancy you could say but oh don´t they look mighty steady instead. Up front they don´t look terrifying. New signings to the summer? But look at their central midfield! Players like Mahlangu and Gashi. Bulldozers with enormous stamina. Opposition needs to somehow break them down.
Top team surely. Another gold? Is the hunger still there? Maybe....

    Göteborg

A lot of talk about IFK. About them spending considerate money on new signings. Gerzic, Salomonsson, Waehler, Alvbåge, Sobralense and Farnerud. All of them would individually be more or less stars in most Allsvenskan sides. It´s a massive project....and a also gambling game by the legendary Håkan Mild, Sports Drector at the club. I feel it could either end up in a total fiasco or a top placing.
New coach Stahre likes his side to play technically skilled football along the turf. A complete opposite from the period under former coach Olsson where the ball boys had to stand on Mars. Stahre have a intricate puzzle in front of him. Difficult. But they have looked decent preseason.
    Top placing? Maybe, maybe.

    Häcken

We might think that this is a very tiny little club. And in most aspects they are off course. It´s a type of club that shouldn´t really be able to exist that far up in the league system. But lately we´ve read about their wealthy economy. Smart signings and sold players. Plus ownership in the anual Youth football Cup Gotia.
They lost attacker Ranégie to Malmö. They gained offensive central midfielder Drugge from IFK Göteborg, who was absolutely dismal there. Basically a competent player though. Martin Ericsson from Elfsborg is a fantastic signing for the little club. Well done. Youngster Lewicki needs to have his break through. No impressive depth in their squad. A couple of injuries and they are smoked.
    Midtable perhaps?

    Kalmar:

Kalmar are doing well preseason. McDonald is an interesting newcomer. Scoring in training matches. Could pose a serious threat to some of the better defenses in Allsvenskan. We shouldn´t be fooled by the losses Sobralense, Santos and wing defender Johansson. Coach Bergstrand is forming a steady outfit of players. GuldFågeln Arena is a fortress and few opponents will snatch points there.
Could produce a fairly good placing all from mid to top placing. Very tricky to get a hold of their whereabouts at this moment in time for me at least.

    Malmö:

A lot of people complained that MFF didn´t produce last year. But if we look in hind sight they actually produced a Medal in the league and reached Group stages in the Europa League after fending of clubs like Rangers. Tells us something about our expectations concerning their potential. The down side last year was their lack of goalscoring production with only 37 goals. Can they fix that? They´ve got Ranégie up front. Daniel Larsson. Inspiring midfielders entering the squad: Friberg and young Simon Thern.....to complement the already existing high quality midfield line up. Veteran Andersson and much younger but impressive Jansson will see to it that few ball reaches the goal-line of Dahlin....
The Giant of the South, Malmö is always a threat. Top placing.

    Mjällby:

Lost cocky midfielder Grahn. David Löfqvist too. Will perhaps be in some trouble by the end of the season. That is if they don´t find a bit more offensive fire-power and creativity. There si decent quality in some spots but for me they lack that extra touch to reach the sam heights once again. Pär Ericsson didn´t settle at IFK Göteborg. The second City club let him go on loan for a second period running to the club from Lister. Wikström was signed to their defense. Smart signing. Arokoyo. What can he do?
Bottom section perhaps? Fighting to stay?

    Norrköping:

The 12 times winners of Allsvenskan is club most wants to have in the Allsvenskan. This historic club has seen many legends play for them. A somewhat wobbly performance last year. Astrit Ajdarevic has distinct offensive qualities. The "Peking" fans wóuld have high expectations on this lad. A key player. Anreas Johansson is most likely a good signing.
I hope the Norrköping club makes it in the end. I really do. But they will have to work hard for it. They don´t look considerably stronger than a few other bottom-half clubs.....

    Syrianska:

They made it through in the end last year. Had to qualify to stay. My guess is that they have to fight hard to manage the same again. But they did well to lure Chanko to the club. Well done. There are some sharpness in the squad. Arneng is good. An inspired Barsom could do a decent job. Dinko Felic is a giant of a man up front in the attack. Can he score a decent amount? His attacking pal Ijeh has escaped to GAIS. Dejan Garaca, the former reserve goalie from Malmö is signed over.
Watch your backs Södertälje boys. It´s gonna be a rough ride I´m sure....

    Åtvidaberg:

This tiny side will have to be on their alert in every match. Play at their best constantly in order to stay. Oscar Möller scored 6 goals last time around in Allsvenskan. He needs better goal production now. Kristian Bergström is merited veteran who have many Allsvenskan matches to his credit. Tobias Nilsson from the Malmö academy has an easier time grasping a spot in the considerably smaller club.
Will the stay in the Top flight be a longer one than just 1 year?

    Örebro:

The Pride of the Närke region makes our list complete. This club has a great potential to grow in the future. A rather big town with a proud and very active following of supporters. The Kubaner fans would like newcomers in midfield Bamberg from Norrköping and Grahn from Mjällby to get the best possible start. They will need to since they are the type of players living largely on inspiration. Especially Grahn is a player once being a top player in Allsvenskan. Has he still some fuel in the tank? In Örebro he´ll lead a bigger club than Mjällby. There you have your inspiration sir. Goalie Sandqvist never really found his stride at the huge Malmö club. In Örebro he can shine more and be a leader together with Grahn? They need leaders....since midfield virituoso (at least in 2010) Gerzic and popular goalie Alvbåge both left for IFK Göteborg......
    Mid table?

I have to sharpen my senses. I can´t really find a more specific ranking for the moment than this one. I´m sorry. I have to go back to the drawing board and learn from what you guys have to say......

Attacker Santos of Djurgården Stockholm have opened in impressive fashion preseason. But lapsis in concentration such as in the match against Aalesund of Norway must be limited......

Malmö is a historic rival to my IFK. But I have to confess: Great supportership. Not many away points to be snatched at their fortress swedbanK Stadion. Here against Rangers:
