Djurgården stays up!

Djurgården beat Assyriska 3:0 after extra time at the Stadium in Stockholm. The two legs could not be more different. Unlike Wednesday's effort, where Assyriska ran and ran all over a complacent Djurgården the entire game, it was Djurgården that came out both barrels and overwhelmed the visitors. Goals in the 52nd and 60th minute tied the aggregate. Only in the last few minutes of regulation did Assyriska show any positive play, and they had their moment in extra time, but a header won against the goalkeeper put Djurgården back in the Allsvenskan for 2010. It was a wonderful match, and a celebration for the home fans.
