I haven't seen them properly under this Monk (only had 3 games only 2 played with a full team) but the highlights against Cardiff they were pressing like mad where they won 3-0 in his first game. Some of their fanbase seem to suggest they went stale under Laudrap not sure if true and they seem to be divided with some of them suggesting as he was off at the end of the season and this had affected the players who were not performing. I just thought they struggled due to europa impacting on a midtable team which it always does. As someone who likes a bet I would be avoiding going anywhere near this game all the ingredients for an unpredictable result.
Swansea fan dropping in, it's interesting to hear your opinions. With regards to the Laudrup sacking, from outside it may have looked like a stupid thing to do, but those who follow the club closely feel it was the right decision. Under Monk we've looked more like the side we were when we were beating the big teams in our first and second seasons in the Premier League. Although it's only been three games we looked great against a very strong Everton side until a suicidal backpass around 70 minutes. The club's much more stable since the sacking, and we're back to our mentality that we can compete with everyone if we stick to our passing style. That being said, I'm sh*tting myself for Thursday because this will be one of the biggest games in our history and I think if you control the game early on you could thump us! Good luck lads!
Title: Why Higuain could be off agaist Swansea. Subtitle: The unspeakable truth behind a capitain's kick in the ass. Immagine you are a guy named Paolo Cannavaro. A fair center defender, who plays for his birth city's team. After a lot of good work you become even the capitain of the team, but one day, your friend and trainer goes away and the team changes. New talented players come and you feel yourself put aside. Before the beginning of the season you bring the newcomers on a boat and the most talented one falls and get hurt by some rocks. An accident, sure but your president is angried and you feel yourself even more aside of the team. Then the new Spaniard trainer doesn't trust you and the few games you get to play, you shit yourself, worsting things even more. Finally on Jenuary you change team. The second game is against your former team. You get to play, you try your best, but fail, your former team scores twice. Then the destiny puts yourself in the perfect position, the talented Argentinian we spoke before about is there, right in front of you. You kick him in the ass and give yourself to evil. Forever.
Not "a bit", completely. It is a way to get bad thougts away, kind of cathartic, You know? Cannavaro is not the kind to get lost in a futile revenge, plus the clash was completely casual and absolutely not a voluntary threat. Yet it is a coincidence , also Gene Gnocchi (who is a ****************) saw the coincidence, he said "He had to kick him because there were no rocks around".
The squad: Reina, Rafael, Colombo, Albiol, Britos, Henrique, Maggio, Ghoulam, Reveillere, Inler, Dzemaili, Behrami, Insigne, Callejon, Mertens, Hamsik, Higuain, Pandev, Duvan. Fede is suspended for this one Swansea-Napoli is handed to Croatian Ivan Bebek at 20.05 GMT.
Gnocchi is the same ******** who said Diego would only be good for drug trafficking. I can't stand that idiot he doesn't know shit and isn't funny at all.
Would be happy with a score draw in this first leg. Don't know why everyone predicts we will win, our away record in Europe is abysmal
Gotta live how they preach the classy shit. I am growing to hate ********ing romass by the minute. ********ing loser ********s.
Albiol could be out as well (flu) so that means Britos and Henrique making his debut start could be paired up yikes.
man... well, as long as we tie, hope Albiol is okay, better not to risk him for this one if he isn't 100%
