well if your looking young at Monsalves as the answer...you may as well look at others around like JP Piques who did come in during training camp looking. What about U20 keeper? Who is he linked with?

I don't get this concussion thing - I've never heard of any English league footballer ever being out of action because of a Concussion?! Petr Cech was only out for 6 months and he cracked his skull! How bad can a concussion actually be?!?!?!?!

Ask Brett Lindros. Ask Troy Aikman. People like that can tell you how bad concussions can actually be.

Bad - I've had a few knocks to the head and at best you're lucky with some headaches and memory loss. At worst you can get depression, nausea when exercising and a whole series of issues that affect your ability to function in everyday life

Take your time Greg - wait till your symptom free and the doctors say you're good to go.

Injury like this simply depends on each player, some may get over it quick while other end their career over it, each case is different. Hope he can get over such a thing and come back next season since he is Canadian he will more than liky be on the side to keep up with the quota.

so it looks like we'll need a canadian...unless we use the DP spot.......which doesnt make sense....

Monsalve is ineligible. or thats what he has told me...Serje is Horrendous....

who's the goalie for impact now a days??? lets go rape that team again.

I don't doubt it is a bad injury - but I really have never heard of a concussion in European footy keeping any players out! Do they call this injury something else over there or something?!

word is that there's a strong possibility that cunningham will be out for the season too following his operation to repair his abdominal injury...how much more can we take???

These injuries are exposing us for what we really are:

An expansion team with ZERO depth. :(

Ya, given that he had to go to Germany for the operation, that's not good.

Globe & Mail is reporting that Brennan has a cracked rib & Boyens has a broken nose those...

we have some good quality on the bench.... well not top-notch but guys who can be used...

if Mo tells me that Canizalez isnt as good or better than andy welsh he should be fired...

theres guys on the bench who can play if given the chance...Melo stepped in yesturday and didnt do too bad and Nunez showed in the U-20s that when given the chance he can hold the ball up in midfield...he was by far the best mid player on the team during the tournament.

we haver some quality...they just need a chance to shine..
