You get beat up a lot at school don't you?

Seriously though what HS kid in his/her right mind wouldn't want to hang out with a rowdier crowd that's swearing, singing and having a good time. If I were in your shoes I would kinda feel like I was sticking my hand in the proverbial cookie jar and not getting caught.

Well let's be honest. You don't want people like this representing Columbus.

Eggy, maybe we have a little bit of a communication problem. Our goal is to support the Crew, be loud, and essentially be the 12th man.

I'll give you this one though. You're absolutely right, if you want to hang in the corner, get drunk, swear, hang with your friends, and do nothing productive, go for it.

We want to get the crowd involved. You just want to laugh at your own elementary school jokes and act like asses. You have my support, so go ahead.

I'll bet you anything, that before long, you'll find yourselves quite alone and alienated. :)

So that's all there is? If people aren't cheering exactly like you they are obviously "hang in the corner, get drunk, swear, hang with your friends, and do nothing productive"?

By the way what's the highest profile game you've ever been to? I'm curious to know. What's the biggest group of supporters you've been with?

. . . I quoted Vanilla Ice for petes sake. If that's "acting tough" in your book.. maybe you need to take a good look in the mirror.

We all know you travel to England several times to show us what an amazing fan of "footie" you are Eggy. We know you've mixed it up with the best supporters the sport of "football" has ever seen. You are a supporters groups greatest dream member.

We get it. You don't like the Legion.04 and the kids who make up it's membership or what they believe in as supporting the team. The other 38 posts telling us that the past few months have made that clear...you don't really need a 39th. We get the point.

Your second paragraph: What does this have to do with it? :) :) :)

Your first paragraph: This makes absolutely no sense, because you've twisted my words. How about you read the posts!

No it's pretty much what you've said.

As to my second paragraph...I'll take that as you don't want to answer?

    #1. I don't say footie.
    #2. I've shown you nothing.
    #3. I don't say football, I say soccer.
    #4. I'm not a "dream" member
    #5. You don't get it
#6. 38 posts later and we still have the boy scouts slagging off people who have been in the North End alot longer.
#7. We had decent people in the North End. Now we have this kid. It's sickening.
#8. Fid you're full of sht and everyone knows it.

You can tack that on at number 39,40,41 etc. The Crew is becoming a fcuking embarassment more and more every day.

I'd be surprised if we could even agree on that.

Throw some Crew jerseys on them, and some people still probably wouldn't like them.

    ok. you said 12th man.

now, and granted, maybe we share different views on this, but ive always viewed a supporters group as a group who tries thier best to get under the skin of the opposing team.

id like to know (especially with the rules you have had implemented) how you plan to get this done.

do you feel that calling someone a poopy head is the most effective way?

also, is the long term goal of legion 04 to be a bible study group, cause it seems to be going that way. you still have this very, very silly preoccupation with drinking and swearing, and for some reason, god knows why, youve tied those two things in with being UNproductive as a supporter.

id just like to know how you came up with that goal. cause personally, with the way the team has been playing of late (and at times last season, and the entire year before), the supporters couldnt send a BETTER message than getting piss drunk and not chanting. in fact, that sends a pretty clear message. the supporters are a good barometer of how the team is doing. you see a team doing well, you see vibrant, active supporters. if theyre down in the dumps, then so are the supporters. you guys seem to just want to be glassed over all the time...

look. youve got the right idea, youre just really misguided. thats all. the northend is not a church group. the north end is not a kinder-care. its not grandmas house, either. you are extremely short sighted if you believe that drinking and swearing are things that dont belong in a supporters groups. it really does show your lack of exposure.

im still really curious as to how youve been brainwashed to think that drinking and swearing are the reasons, nay, the ONLY reasons that the v-army didnt have good numbers last year. id like to see that logic.

and fid, i know you 1.) dont like eggy, 2.) dont like drama, but he brought up good points. its kind of ridiculous for some high school kid to come in, say that he knows best, despite the fact that he doesnt even know jack squat of the real world. thats kinda the point that eggy is making. how can you say you can lead a supporters group if youve never seen a "real" one to begin with...

Not true. I like Eggy, I just have a problem with the fact all he seems to do on these boards anymore these days is pick a fight with and put down the high school kids. But hey, whatever.
Me? Drama? You don't know me that well if you think I don't enjoy drama.

Not to take any sides here(ok, I guess I do at the end), but listen and I will make this VERY clear:

I would NEVER join a supporter's group which:

    A. The leader wears Beckham jerseys to Crew matches. EDIT: No excuses for this. I don't give a sh!t if he saved you from drowning, there's no f!cking excuse for this bs.

    B. I am more vocal than the whole lot of them.

    C. Kids are giving each other noogies instead of being into a playoff match. How the f!ck are you going to be the 12th man while doing sh!t like that?

That being said... Yeah.. I think that's enough being said. Fid, I get you don't like how Eggy's been putting down these kids. But F!ck, maybe he doesn't do it in the best way possible; he does it in his own Eggy way. But I still think he's right. For the most part, that is.

Ok, this comment I don't agree with:
    :)
