We have a while before our next (and final) pick at #66.

We're supposed to have a pick in the 4th round. We'll see.

Any place that employs Simon Borg instantly becomes unreliable.

I think the reason Crew media seem to not be talking about the 66th is that we might pass. Chivas and Portland passed in the third round.

Chivas and Portland looked to have passed in the 3rd (or are otherwise "precluded from picks").

Thanks for the info! I'll wait for the PASS to be official before I update the roster thread, just to make sure.

In his senior season, which isn't listed on Herdzone for some reason, he had 9 GA in 17 matches. .895 save percentage.

Which does add an intersting subnote to our discussion last week of what a supplemental pick is worth (vis-a-vis waiving players). No--I'm not starting that discussion again. But clearly the value of such a pick is low--empirically. I'll find it amusing if Montreal does not use the pick they got from us.

Apparently it's a University in North Carolina affiliated with the United Methodist Church; it's athletic teams are the Panthers if you cared.

Sounds we dug deep to find another diamond in the rough.

That's a good sign in my book.

High Point was a fairly popular school for people in my graduating class (in southern WV). If I recall correctly, it's near Greensboro.

Nice placement on his freekick and goal from the run of play in there.

MLSSoccer.com had Sloan as the #9 attacking midfielder available

Really more of a medium point, but rep for the joke nonetheless.

Sloan sounds like a guy we turn into a wing project.

    And that's his whisper voice.

Right back, GK, and wing depth...sounds like mission accomplished to me.
