    Drew Beckie?

The audio is horrible. Reed something? Mattie? This is awful audio.

I now have a ringing in my ears.

    He played for Denver.

Sounds like Reed Matty is the guy's name. Will check on spelling

Van - Adam Meena (guess on spelling) and Michael Rose - 10 and 11

    A right back.

Well, we've certainly been working on our defense with Barson, Beckie, Glauber, and Matte.

It's Reed Matte; stop killing yourself unless you are enjoying this, no one cares except for who we take at this point.

I shut down the feed. At third pick, Porter took Meves. He could be a really great keeper.

The mlssoccer.com crew tabbed Matte as the best right back in the draft.

Lots of contradictions in the scouting report. What I can make of it is that he's a good athlete that works hard and has a well-rounded game. I do like the "He will play in MLS, he's not borderline" comment.

We took the Marchall keeper Daniel Withrow and I guess that's it for us. I thought this thing was four rounds and we only traded our third but whatever.

Withrow led the nation in save percentage last season and he was the C-USA Player of the Year.

Given what was left on the board, I think both our picks were pretty solid.

We have a lot of competition for that right back slot at this point not so much at left back. The funny thing is you have to expect Williams is going to take that spot right?

I covered Withrow when I was with Marshall's student paper, he'll be great at the next level. He saw solid minutes his freshman year, and about 1/3 of the way through the season had displaced a three year starter.

So this is not hating on the guy at all but right now the USL team would have a solid keeper then?

Definitely. He's certainly not better than what we already have, but when I was covering the team, I felt he was the most likely to go pro. He has huge upside, and a great team-first type mentality.

Granted, I haven't followed the team as closely as his freshman year, but this news is a good thing for sure.

I think it's interesting Porter took Chris Hegney from Ohio State, Porter got plenty of looks at him.
