"Chelsea Day 3 Training Report" is basically a 3 minutes long convo with Frank. What a guy - I'd let him one-night-stand my daughter if I had one.
Jose on advising Supah to stay and avoid America, and Lamp saying he wanted no other Club in Premier League: http://www1.skysports.com/watch/vid...league/8826950/mourinho-admits-lampard-advice
Over/under on 10 goals for him this season? I am going to say under and I expect 8 goals this season. I hope I bump this at the end of the season and say, "Daaaayyyuummm, supah! You did it again!" *Winning smile*
Probably will have to be more specific than that, good sir. 4 goals from deflections from the pie in Franks mouth and 4 from the deflections from the pie in his mouth of the post back off the pie and into the net.
Jose: “He wants to play at this level and of course he can (play here at Chelsea for many years)." “I don’t know (how long he can stay at the top), but with the relationship we have, it’ll be easy because we have a great one. He knows I trust him a lot and he also knows that he’s not 25 anymore. “The crazy Lamps that wanted to play every minute of a League Cup match against a team in the Championship, a crazy Frank that wanted to beat the record of appearances is not here anymore." http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/foo...ain-at-chelsea-for-years-to-come-8776594.html
If he keeps taking free kicks like he did, I don't know how we can't play him. In all honesty, Supah has a couple more truly reliable seasons in him. What is most telling of him, is that he'll likely get a century for England at 35. That in itself is fantastic.
oi Mod look at this thread title and take that tactic talk elsewhere keep this thread about our wonderful Lamps
no worries the youtube video of 'Arry is worth watching as well and I would love someone to track down that obnoxious fan now and see what he thinks
Well, if what Frank said is true, and it was a father of one of the players no longer in the team, I can sympathize.
but the father clearly had an agenda and was trying to use other players instead of his own son either way 'Arry was spot on about Frank
Frank Lampard is the greatest box to box Midfielder of a generation. He was always compared against a player from Liverpool who had no business being compared to Frank. His ability to find himself in position to score or pick out a perfectly waited pass wasn't luck, but it made him great. His scoring record in the league speaks for itself and it's why no player has ever, forwards included, been able to match his consistency. He was never fully appreciated by England fans and never given the credithe deserved by the rest if the world. He is the one reason why someone can say hard work pays off. He wasn't physically great, or had the natural talent that other greats have had, but he worked harder than everyone else. I'll say it again, he is the greatest box to box mid of a generation. The world won't appreciate him the way they should until he's gone. That can finally happen next season. Good luck Frank. We'll miss your presence.
hoping he only spends a couple of seasons away, and comes back to work his way into the coaching staff. you really can't say enough. i'm not sure i even want to try.
