From an EPL standpoint, it's either him or Scholes for the last 20 years.

Scholes was a quality player, but for me Lampard is far better. I don't see how the Mancs would have failed to win the lot in 07/08 if they had Lamps in the middle instead of Scholes. We are truly lucky to have him.

I know, that is why I posted that pict & that saying. Look @ Hart, he is smiling, but seriously if you were that close to Super Frank, you would be smiling too ;)

I think Hart is happy to have avoided the ball and keep his head. ;)

i would assume that they have practiced PK's together many times, and therefore have a personal respect and relationship very much having to do with PK's. i think he's smiling cause he got tricked by a friend. if that makes sense.

Just want to put the accomplishments of Supa Frank in perspective. Compare Supa w/ other so-called Great Midfielders:

    Lampard: 524 games,180 goals,114 assists
    Gerrard: 556 games,142 goals,83 assists
    Xavi: 557 games,63 goals,67 assists
    Scholes: 677 games, 150 goals, can't find the assists[IMG]

Ever since the media driven idea that Frank was/is past it, I've been loving how he's reacted. Watching some videos of Frank on youtube today (ss you do) and came to the conclusion that I think the absolute legend that is Suuuuuuuuuuuupah Frank has overtaken Joe Cole as my favorite player EVER to play for the Chels. We're all some lucky bastards. LEGEND! (JT & Joey are tied at 2 for the record)

    Frank is better. :D

    but

When did Gerrard play that many games? the bloke is injured most of the time.

Likewise Scholes has not played in that many games as he?

Bro, you can goto Wikipedia & verify the stats I posted. Also Scholes is older than Supa.

Gerrard became a Liverpool regular at a young age, Lampard took a few years to develop.

In every great season of the Abramovich era, there has been a great turn by Lampard. In Jose Mourinho’s first year he scored 19 goals and had 16 assists, the following year he scored 20 and made nine, in the Double campaign he scored 27 and assisted 20. Until Manchester United found a midfield player capable of matching Lampard goal for goal — and finally outstripping him, when played as a forward — Chelsea were heading for an era of unparalleled dominance. And Cristiano Ronaldo remains the only midfield player who wins more games than Lampard.

Even this season, slowing down and not always selected when it mattered, Lampard is Chelsea’s top scorer with 12 goals. This will be the ninth consecutive season he finishes in double figures. Steven Gerrard, to whom he is often compared due to their unfortunate international incompatibility, managed that in six consecutive campaigns only between 2004-05 and 2009-10. Paul Scholes (he scores goals goes the song), does so for Manchester United every 4.52 matches. Lampard scores for Chelsea every 2.98 games and scores or makes a goal every 1.8. There is no-one like him in English football and few beyond unless Abramovich wants to sell a yacht, or a small island, and begin the hopeless pursuit of Ronaldo.

Lampard finds ways on the pitch to prove me wrong every season. I am just wondering if he'll be up to it again after next season too.

He's on 186, so 16 to equal the record.

Ridiculous numbers. And here I am in the midst of another Gerrard/Lampard "debate" on another site.

My favorite comment has been that Steven Gerrard is a more intelligent player than Frank Lampard:D:D:D
