Whether he stays or goes, let us take pause to Appreciate what he has done for this Club:
Showing that even in today's game with all the divng and cheating, great players can also have class. Wouldnt trade him for any player in the world. The Bolton game, the 180 spin against Bayern and Ballack that chip to Drogba, the penalty against Liverpool, all in a long list of Lampard memories Ill never forget.
How did I know one of you were going to interpret it like that. I mean't go as in I'm cheering him on.
Been my favorite player since I first got into Chelsea 6 years ago. Can't believe it's been that long and it's even harder to think SFL may be on his way outLove ya Frankie, stay and earn that testimonial.
I wonder if the club is playing games aware of the likelihood that Frank is prepared to join Jose at Inter. By offering him the 140K per week are they making an honest and desperate attempt to hold on to him? Or are they convinced he is leaving and are atttempting to save face and convince us fans they would never let him go without offering him a large salary? I have come to the conclusion that Frank wants a new challenge and the opportunity to play under Jose again. And if so I wish him every success in his new venture. Frank Lampard is a true Chelsea legend and deserves our best wishes and respect!
i hope frank Lampard stays,i really dont want him to go,he is massive for us,scores a huge portion of our goals every season, ..BUT if he does go,and he would love a new challenge and or be reunited with Jose,i will continue supporting him at inTER! we all should
Woah, woah, woah... that's English for 'stop a horse'. I see no reason to not to give Lampard and Inter a certain level of support, but, stunningly, Randy puts the same idea across more diplomatically than Marz. Whilst others are often criticised - nay, berated - for multi-team support, especially in situations such as thebigman's with his intra-Premier League allegiances, Inter are no direct competition to us for 95% of any season and 100% of most. I will be delighted to see Jose and Lampard flourish in Italy and thoroughly dominate Serie A for the next few years, if that comes to pass. I would prefer Frank to stay, but that's not in our hands.
Most Inter fans don't even want Frank, so if he's going to leave then I'd love him to bang in 15 goals in Serie A and have Inter win the scudetto. Lampard is somehow one of the most underrated players by fans.
If he goes to Serie A, we will see if he has success or if he flops. Apparently Inter are after Arjen Robben as well because of Jose.
True, if you're one of the best players in the world, you ought to start, and not be a bench warmer....despite all the injuries. If he goes to Inter, he'd tear it up no doubt.
He'd be injured in pre-season, have 2 great games around mid-September, be out for 3 weeks, be slowly brought back in, 1 great game, out again, etc...
