    Good.

    I know I have criticized the man, but overall, i say he was a grea Pope. He did alot of things that were criticized but that had good intentions. Its not right for the Papacy to get involved in politics, but I did like the stance the vatican had against communism, facist, and other forms of oppresion. I guess being a young man in Poland during 1939, would drastically changes your views and ideologies.

    Although he was one of the best popes and people are really feeling sad and stuff, I don´t know if its a good decision with the huge separation of church that has ocurred in Mexico. Still I won´t complain much or anything about it.

    He was a world leader. People have this mentality that a Pope cant be in the wrong or commit a mistake or else he is crucified. A Pope is a man like any other man and will commit errors. John Paul II and the one before him wanted to give the impression that they were not God-like. That was something the the Catholic Church needed to do.

    My biggest complaint with the Catholic church as a kid was that I felt that they would rather keep thier followers stupid. But you grow up and not just the church but any organization. The problem is that the Catholic Church has a target and has had one for centuries. It is real easy to criticize them.

    After seeing Monterrey´s game, I wished they haven´t postponed the games and just done things like Monterrey and their fans did. That was awesome. What a great tribute.

    I would like to request that the moderators change the title of this thread. People are being misled. The games have NOT been postponed to Monday. On Monday, the FMF will meet to decided when the matches will be rescheduled.

    They didn't have a moment of silence but had a Papa Tribute with the song "Eres mi amigos" by Roberto Carlos while the monterrey fans wave what seem white ribbons.

    The FMF will re-schedule dates for the two games on Monday. The games are not being played on Monday.

    ¤ I liked Monterrey's tribute best, but Atlas had a good one too, the cheerleaders had white candles lit and the stadium turned off the lights and it looked nice.... ¤

    Because Pumas are playing in the much-loved CONCACAF Champions Cup.
    Their semifinal games against D.C. United are each of the next two Wednesdays.
