Answer (part 1?) to question of which attacking players sit when all are healthy ? Ade/Defoe chosen over Dempsey. Or is the groin injury still a question mark ?

You'd have to think fitness or form could be a question mark for Dempsey. Not sure if today says anything to answer your question.

Adebayor had a terrible miss after a clearance of a Defoe pass was botched. He has really been underperforming this season.

If he were just a bit smarter player............

That quickness is world class, great finish. Just too many dumb plays to be made up for. Put Zidanes brain in that body and you'd have Messi^2

NASTY back heel from Clint puts Ade 1v1 with the keeper but he can't finish.

That really should have been another assist for Dempsey, and it would have been a sweet one.

Clint has looked extremely crafty in this sub appearance. Great passes and fakes opening up big space.

Good to see Clint still sharp after two weeks on the mend. How did Ade miss that?

Tottenham dominated this. With even average finishing, they're 4-1 winners here.

No kidding and to here the announcers "ball washing" Lennon and Bale you have to wonder why they don't finish better

Correction, he was booked for getting hit while attacking in the box and going down. There was clear contact. Should have been no call or a pk if anything. I would have gone with a no call.

It was a great pass. Adebayor probably should have scored, but the keeper came out and cut off the angle well. Adebayor didn't have much room for error toward the far post and he just missed it.

Agree a "no call" it shouldv'e been. Bale probably couldv'e stayed on his feet and tried a shot/cross. There was a YA there to clean it up.
