He won the league title with Apoel and scored i think 7 goals as a midfielder. He was a regular on the starting 11 and Apoel tried to resign him, but he said his time in Cyprus was over. He had offers from Greece, Israel, and China, but signed wit an Italian doode name Matteo Quintavalle that is signing a lot of Costa Rican players and placing them in teams.

Its kind of a long story but he's a rich man signing players wit really good contracts. Ronald Gomez wanted to come and stay in Costa Rica for the family but wanted a real good contract first, and he said Quintavalles contract could never be matched by any other Costa Rican club.

Funny thing is that when the rumours were going around about whether or not la bala would play in CR, he said he would only do it for a team that would fight for the title. Well, he signed with this quintavalle guy and will end up playing in Brujas, a team that has no chance to the title at all (not to mention no stadium or fans). I guess quintavalle is really paying him a lot of money.

Right, he was exactly what they were looking for and in fact still looking for. When he returned back to Guate he looked really good.
