I thought there was another article on bild that indicated we already had finalized the loan?

According to diferent sources Werder made an agreement with Hakan Calhanoglu (18 years old midfielder) for the case that KSC and Werder can find an agreement on the transfer fee. Mmh, still nothing fixed yet, but it sounds like a pre-contract thing to me.

Some Werder fans reported in a forum they saw Elia today in Bremen, while British media report of a possible transfer to Fulham. So, it seems like some movement in this case.

KA is believed to be in Italy today. Hopefully some sort of compromise can be reached with Juve...

Different sources say the Elia deal is perfect. Buy - 6.5 million €, nothing officially confirmed by Juve or Werder.

Ok, deal is done. Werder confirms an agreement in terms of transfer fee with Juventus (without making the numbers public) and reports that Elia passed the medical check. The contract will be signed tomorrow because of legal aspects (Juve is listed at the stock exchange and their transfers only can be made public on working days).

Elia seems pretty much a carbon copy of Marin skill-wise and personality-wise! :p

He seems to have had a harrowing experience in juventus (I heard it was due to his lazy attitude). Together with his identity as an ex-Hamburg player I think he has extra hunger to winning our support and show good performances, welcome!

If that Marin comparison is true, than great job KA for selling Marin for a greater amount than it took to buy Elia!

And we are also connected with Pazzini from Inter.

    goal.com

Considering the players market value only a loan is possible and since the player is also connected with Juve and PSG the chance to see him in Bremen is very low.

The De Bruyne rumor is more interesting IMHO since the player would most likely sit with Marin on Chelseas bench, but the blues should have in interest to give him playing time since he is very talented.

According to the kicker we are still linked with Juve talent Prince Gouano, a 18 years old French CB, under contract at Juventus. I don't know what to think about this rumor, we still have a lot of CBs with Naldo, Sokratis, Lukimya, Prödl, Affolter and from the reserve Schoppenhauer. At transfermarkt.de it is discussed that the player can also play DM, but there we have several players, too. An option could be to build him up at the reserve or with loan deals since the player is only 18 and then he takes Affolters place (i heard Werder is not happy with his development and after the loan he returns to Switzerland).

    bomb transfer......

Perhaps he got tired of Werder stagnating the past two seasons? Or is it related to his long long injury (I rmb in the past Klasnic left because the medical team did not handle his case well)?

I'll miss Naldo terribly, a great character and passionate to the club, and imo better than Merte. But I'm not sure if Wolfsburg offers more than us for his dream to play for brazil in 2014.

Simply shocking. Now its clear why the rumor with the young French CV came up. Naldo, thanks for 7 years in HE service, but why must you leave to that shit club sponsored by former Nazi company Volkswagen. :-(

Some buzz about the possibility that the Naldo sale is part of a larger project to get Diego from Wolfsburg. Honestly, I don't buy it, but that's just my opinion.

Not happy to see Naldo go. When healthy, he has been our best defender for half a decade.

With Lukimya and Sokratis, you have two good CBs for next season.

I read this rumor, too. Some other fans speculate that Fabian Ernst could come back because his current club has to save wages.

wtf....... I really don't understand such transfers, Naldo is more important to Bremen than a returning Diego who despite being a club legend, has the effect of stifling the talents of Ekici/Junuzovic and may lead Schaaf to continue the diamond 4-4-2...

heard good things about Lukimya but really the 1. BL is a big step up from the 2. BL, not sure how well he will cope with it.

Yes, signing Diego would also make no sense to me, but it is only a rumor. The clubs management philosophy is now to completely rebuild the team. Considering the Naldo transfer Allofs could have said hardly no, because Wolfsburg offers Naldo thanks to VW about 2 million € more annual wage than he gets earned at Bremen.

Yes, it is a risk. We fans should give Lukimya some time to adopt.

OMG ... Naldo failed the medical test at Wolfsburg, so further tests will be done.

it sounded like he is just going to keep taking the test until he passes lol. especially considering Wolfsburg's situation with Kjaer.

The Wolfsburg doctor detected at Naldos knee that parts of the cartilage are destroyed. This was probably done by the Brazilian doctors at the operation last season. For the Brazilians it was nothing special, but German doctors fear about negative consequences. Well, Oldenburg has to decide if they can live with it or not.

A side note, Allofs stated that there is no 29 years old pro footie player without health deficits and told about his medical at Weeder. Weeders old doctor was shocked after the medical "This guy has no knee", but Otto Rehagel said "I have a good dealing, let's sign him". And the old Allofs scored many BL goals and even one of the final goals at Werders European cup winners cup success.

Well, times have changed. Let's see how the story continues. According to Bold Wolfsburg decided to sign him.

The deal is done. Both clubs came to an agreement, Werder pays back a part of the transfer fee, if Naldo gets knee problems. Allofs: "If Naldo gets knee problems the transfer fee is reduced." ... But he does not expect it, because "we send a fit player to Wolfsburg."

    kicker.de

At least Wolfsburg has a capable doctor and not someone who did not find out that Bayern sold us Ekici with knee problems, who is btw. injured again and left the trainings camp. :(

And another transfer. Sandro Wagner joins Hertha BSC Berlin. Thanks to Sandro for his good matches in spring 2011 and best of luck at the old lady.
