    This thread: zero point zero.

Songs I’ve heard this season that reference RevArmy:

    Firecracker Firecracker
Mama mama (which has fluctuated between RA and New England the 3 times we've pulled it off)
    We’re the Riders/We’re the Army

Songs I’ve heard this season that do not reference RevArmy:

    Halls of Foxboro Stadium
Super-revs (yes that is an “er” not an “ah”)
    Augie Augie
When the revs go marching in
Won’t you score a goal for me?
We all laugh at a ____ football team
    Get a rope
    New England (clap clap clap)
    Glory glory revolution
    We love New England
    Rev-o-lu-tion
    Wipeout
    Wings of a sparrow
I say no card you say yellow
    Oh E Oh New England
    New England is so wonderful
    New England Till I Die
    Piss on the fire
You can score it if you really want (yet to catch on but it will)
Come on Revvies (work in progress)

Songs that have died a natural death that reference RevArmy:
    r-e-v army

Songs that have died a natural death that do not reference RevArmy:

    Viva la Revolution
    The Wild Rever
    Rolly Pollly Fat Ravioli
    Fear of the revs
All we are saying is give us a goal.
We always win when it's raining.
    Put your arms together...
    Unleash the beast
    Baby beasley
    Jair the deer

This is off the top of my head so forgive me if I missed a few.

And I feel like I explaining why a joke is funny here but...the whole point of the SuperRevs chant is that is gets progressively slooooooower; I know we are only supposed to do a chant twice but i think in this case it's ok to break the rules. My recollection of birth of this chant (at least in section 2) was 2 drunk scottish/irish guys doing it over and over during one of the first matches in 96, saying what the F are they doing with their arms then (the fort) adopting it.

    For what it's worth.

Ok, finally something I can get involved in. Why is this? I keep hearing people refer to this and I don't get it. The second time a chant is sung is usually when most of the people are hearing it the first time ... why would you stop immediately after that?

Not saying you Tommy ... I'm just curious why this has been "decided."

    Good point Boston

The only reason that I wrote "Mama Mama" with "Rev Army" instead of "New England" is because it doesn't make much sense that New England would cut your hair, the Rev Army on the other hand....

    Just my opinion.

When I say wrote I mean lifted from the Marine Corps.

You can find a couple of versions on itunes.

I'd love to be singing it at a match but I'm afraid it won't be until next season, unless the Revs make the Cup Final, I think I'll be in LA then :(.

Another thing I'm very sad that "R-E-V Army" is gone it was one of my favorites but then again I think I was the one who usually messed it up anyway. Maybe I'm the reason it's gone .

And to keep this thread on topic "The you suck" chant sucks.

Can we change it to "WOOOOO Sheep Shagger".....

    All in favor say "I".

Alright that settles it then, Sheep shagger it is.

and doesn't spend a penny marketing it. instead of bringing in real proven programers and paying them well, he drafts the out of college relying way to much on young unproven talent. it's so frustrating. we've got this huge world wide web that seats tons of people, but it's only like 1/3 full and he makes everyone browse on one side only so it looks good on viral video. pisses me off.

For the "mama mama" chant you should keep it "What the Rev Army did to me" because the Rev Army are the ones on the pitch playing soccer.

Then maybe we could write a chant about Dead Horses and how frequently they are beaten. Oh look! There goes one now.

Was it me or was the Supah Revs chant louder last night than recent memory??

Maybe we should say ALL the chants suck and we can really make some noise!:p

IMO The drums continue to be a problem...there's got to be a way to keep everyone on beat and coordinated...last night was particularly bad:confused:

On the bright side? no tambourines or bells:D

You sure about that? All I could hear over TV the whole first half was that ********ing tambourine. Thank god it stopped for the second half, I hate that thing. It ********s everyone up because whoever brings it pretty much just shakes it randomly.
