For as much as I have complained about the antiquated stadium, it sure was nice to see the upgrades they've made to the upper concourse. If you didn't go to the game last night, StubHub has sponsored faux patio things, with benches, fake grass, HDTV's and even phone charging stations. They even have strung bulb lighting to give it a true backyard feel. Finally there's room to actually sit down and eat with ample seating space for more than just 15 people. Definitely a step in the right direction for future improvements. Well done.
Agreed. Some really nice touches at the stadium that are long overdue. The only thing at the stadium that sticks out like a sore thumb to me at this point is the poor big screen.
I like how they fixed up the bar areas, streamlined the entrances and added food trucks. I also noticed they moved to digital monitors at the concession stands for the menus. Now if they can get better food and a new big screen, I may move in!
I like that they're bringing food trucks. It's good to have some variety and the prices are good relative to the concession stands. But goddamn my gut hurt this morning and I'm positive it had to do with the spicy angeleno hot dog and buffalo tater tots i had at the hot dog truck.
Who would have thought an in game purchased hot dog would be more dangerous then the bacon wrapped variety from a cart outside...
Is this the dogtown truck? The hot dogs themselves aren't so great, but I do like what they do with them.
Wonder if they'll have a night for CSUF, UCI, and other colleges. I would totally get a Titan/Galaxy scarf.
