Thank God Bostina & Carlos are not around to show him all the right places.

I trust Dayro Moreno will be a big star in Romania. ;)

According to gsp Steaua is interested in Frederico Nieto from Huracan. Andre Nunes was brought and loaned to Gloria Buzau.

Also Daniel Pancu might sign for Steaua today.

They say it's a done deal.

Also Lovin might go to Malaga and Rada and Nicolita to Betis.

Victaos Iacob to Kaiserslautern. I wish him all the best, he was once(and still is) one of romania´s best player.

Sorry, but I definitely don't wish him the best for his debut in Kaiserslautern! :p

His transfer isn't a good message for me, since we have to replace 2 top strikers and 2 CB's for the home game against his new team...

PS: Can you please tell me what his strength is, so I get to inform our defence? :)

    Quote:

"He is nicknamed "Janker" in Romania because his style is similar to the former Bayern striker. He´s big and strong, good headers and he knows to keep and protect the ball. He´s not very fast though. He wasn´t in a good form lately, especially due to a serious injury he suffered. A couple of years ago he was one of the best in Romania and with his goals Steaua reached UEFA Cup semifinals."

Damn, his header quality really scares me ... especially since we have to replace our best header defenders Gohouri (Africa Cup with Ivory Coast) & Brouwers (injury) for this game.

Let's hope he'll find back to his old shape only after this game. :)

I have all the respect for Iacob, and wish him the best at his new team. But after he recovered from his long time injury, he wasn't the same player. He was in a terrible form.
Maybe not having so much pressure on him will do him good, who knows?

    Oh, and Forza STEAUA
    Intotdeauna Superiori!

Actually I was only playing with you. He's the best Romanian striker of all time, and he's recovered his fabulous form. So beware!

Do any of you know anything about Costa Rican defensive midfielder Danny Fonseca joining your club?

It was announced today that he will be joining the team in Turkey but im not sure if it will be on trial or signed to a contract.

No there isn't anything mentioned in the Romanian press.

Can you give us a link from where you got the information?

    Regards,

It was said on a local radio station called RADIO MONUMENTAL. Danny Fonseca was with the national team in IRAN on Wednesday...and they said that a Romanian Club that was in Turkey (they later said it was Steaua Bucharest) was interested in giving him a look in a couple of friendlies.

Just curious whether this thread will get some more postings after the 3:1 win over the leader CFR Cluj at least ... or are the "Stelistii" still shocked by this poor season and their clown called Becali? ;)

    Congrats on the prestigious win.

    "Prestigious win" ?!!?!? LOL

CFR should be happy that they had the honor to play against Steaua, and they only lost 3-1. After the first half the score could of been 3-1 or 4-1 easily.

The importamt matches as far as i am concerned are against Dinamo and Rapid. The game against CFR was a very good game, but without the tension and/or emotional load of a true derby (at least for me).
