Do they not sell or count SRO tickets normally? Anyway, 79,156 in Giants Stadium today. That's another state record. Man, these things are falling like crazy.
Not regularly, but I think that also probably has something to do with fire codes for the stadium as well. Not sure how they got around that for last night, but that's the only thing that made logical sense to me about why they normally don't sell more than the normal 10,385.
FYI, the MO record may be falling soon. There's a friendly at Arrowhead on Sept. 16 between Chivas and Club America
There is a new state record for West Virginia. 2,938 attended the WVU v. UCSB game on September 4th, 2009. http://msnsportsnet.com/page.cfm?cat=netnews&story=14995
The Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium starts to feel pretty full at 1500. I can't imagine packing 3000 into the place. Maybe I'll get a chance when the Big East Tournament starts in a few weeks .
Yeah, I've been updating the list here: http://usasoccer.blogspot.com/2006/08/state-records-beat-this.html
I believe the attendance for the Sounders friendly with Barcelona in 09 was 66,848. If so, this would surpass the RM-DCU match by 18.
Yeah, I have that listed on my blog post: http://usasoccer.blogspot.com/2006/08/state-records-beat-this.html
I should mention that the Livestrong Sporting Park opener set a new Kansas record: 19,925. Any others this year?
Two new records in a week, both Barcelona friendlies. Maryland and Florida are the latest to fall. List updated.
The Manchester Utd friendly in Seattle had 67,052 in attendance. I don't think you can pack much more than that in the C-Link, so this record may last for some time here in Washington.
Hi, I am planning a trivia game and I would like to hire someone to do the questions. I would require about 300 questions about the EPL. Can anyone tell me the best place to look? Thanks
