So my ticket can't be used anymore because I won't be able to make it to the game. I'm going to go to the hannover 96 game on the 27th instead (in dortmund). If anyone is interested, they can have my ticket, and I'd appreciate it if they can throw something my way!
well yeah one ticket, which I'll give to anyone on here and they just need to throw me anything they have...I'm more interested in making sure it gets to someone. It's in e-mail form. Would my name being on it be a problem though?
I wondered why you paid that much for a Südecke Ticket but then realised it's One of those Games where Dortmund charges you more because of the 'better' opponent. I just paid 28 euro for a Ticket vs Hoffenheim e.g. 28 would haven been ok. So, considering my Summer Euro 2012 Plans, i have to decline. my next Game will be Cologne away.
Very nice. I'm going to go for the hannover game on the 26th instead. I guess it will cost a bit less and I'll get to see Götze and Sven in action.
Looks like tickets for the match vs. Bayern Munich were in much much higher demand than what I imagined. I couldn't even access the ticket store. I'm fairly sure all tickets are sold and as far as I can tell, sellers on ebay.de don't ship to Australia. Because I want to purchase my tickets before I leave for Germany, is my only option Viagogo??
Viagogo are generally rip off merchants. I would avoid using them if possible. They was a big expose on their business practices on UK tv a couple of months back
Yeah I know. I've checked out the tickets for sale and they're at least triple the face value. But my problem is that I don't know any other way I can buy a ticket :-( EDIT: I've checked out seatwave.com, and they seem to offer essentially the same service as Viagogo (i.e. highly inflated ticket prices). Is Seatwave any better/worse than viagogo?
I was lucky and got 2 tickets on the phone hotline. But yes, demand was much higher than available tickets. Prices on Ebay are rising too for the last games, it's all because of the possibility to become German champion.
I've managed to get my hands on a BVB ticket. It says on it that it gives me free public transport on matchday. Do I need to get an actual train/bus ticket, or will my game ticket (print@home) be acceptable for a ticket inspector?
Depends on your destination. It's valid in the VRR region. That includes the whole of Dortmund, as well as some other cities. You just have to show the BVB ticket.
