One happened and one didn't, I believe... not sure what point you're making there, tbh.

Just pointing out how irrelevant Dave’s comment was to the Zimmerman case… and by the way, the baseless accusations that the Tea Party killed the census worker actually were pretty popular here.

I don't think the words "tea party" appear in that thread -- unless they were used by someone I have on ignore.

Okay, I can understand thinking he should have been acquitted on what he was being charged with. But to say that a person who shot another person dead should not have been put on trial at all, seriously?

complete distortion of my point. good work.

as one small anecdote that will surely cast me as a pig:

there was a story about a guy from Tennessee or somewhere who had 22 kids with a sizable number of women and he wasn't supporting any of them. if half of those kids require $200 of public assistance for half of their lives, that's $237,000.

how much more do we owe that guy?

And so are you. The police did what they did without using small words and short sentences. It is almost like the only way for Zimmerman to not get out of his car is for the police have said "Sit, stay."

Its hard for me to believe that you are still unfamiliar with the basic facts of the case. I can only assume that you are willfully ignorant at this point.

Putting this case aside do you not believe some homicides are justifiable? Granted they would account for the tiniest fraction of homicides but can you not see any scenario where it may be the only option for the victim? A thorough and dogged investigation for sure......
