I didn't re-listen to the podcast but as I recall there were a few important elements:

    1) they would let season ticket holders know their priority number. This would be done close to the time of picking seats in order to ensure the integrity of the process.

    2) they needed a final manifest of the seating. I'm not sure if this is done or if this requires the seats to have been fully installed

    3) from the manifest they would get the 3d views up and running so people could look at different seating possibilities online.

    4) At the same time they were also working on installing new ticketing software (required to process these new seat selections)

    5) season ticketholders would be given the opportunity (based on priority numbers) to have a seat preview at the new stadium. I believe this has been scheduled for June for a while now.

I'm trying to get a confirmation on where all of this stands, but if its on track then we should start seeing signs of this soon - namely priority numbers announced.

Let me guess, there will be a big smudge of dirt on the 3d virtual camera, just for consistency's sake.

LOL. The smudge that will live in infamy!

I agree that the "smudgecam" should be moved to a different spot so we can watch the seat installation. Any chance on that happening? Is that FO Davy guy still reading anything on BS, or did we scare him off?

"The Smudge"-- that's a great name. Maybe a new supporter's group, maybe... the new stadium!

    I'm not 100% sure but I think... $1,000,000. (I could be wrong)

Actually, it's probably going to be $5-$10 - those are the numbers I've heard bandied about...

For club seat owners ($1250-$1750), I think parking will be on-site and included with the ticket price (at least for either 2 or 4 seat older individuals.

And unless I misunderstood the club seats (or was it just the Suite owners?) also get valet parking.

I think valet parking is ONLY for the "Center Circle" (the 96 seats, starting at $7,500+).

The "club seats" (the 900 seats, from $1,250-$1,750) have to park themselves but they will have parking right by the stadium on the West of it.

Everyone else has to park off the stadium site (I think) which means places like the Sandy Expo center (which is very close, about 3-5 min walk). They will enter through the East side of the stadium (State street side).

I was just there yesterday on a tour - it was AWESOME! There isn't a bad seat in the place and it's going to be a lot of fun. There are still a lot of details up in the air but I believe the general facts I've stated are more or less on the money... (pun intended)

That's what I meant. Thanks for clarifying that.

So unless you fork over the big bucks for the seats that the state legislators & lobbyists will be sitting in; you park at the Expo Center? Or the 7200 South or 10000 South Trax station........

    Thanks for the info!
