I speculate that Stadium News & Possible Truthiness thread XXVII will be the best one yet, just as Stadium II will be someday as well. And as for the most recent team news on the investors/stadium hunt, we can look back to post #1701 from the previous thread, which linked to... And there were also some pictures of Mr. Thohir posted on his twitter page in recent weeks showing him touring Liverpool and Everton's stadiums, and riding on the train with his "biggest idol, Richard Branson."
I suggest dropping the Roman numerals ... Eventually we'll have to start using the L, the M or the C. I don't even know what those mean ... I just hope we get a stadium by MMDCCCLXXXVIII ....
How many times did I petition for these threads to stay with the old format of new threads every 500 posts and even keeping numbering this thread based on what it should have been? Now that I've gotten that obligatory comment out of the way... more obligatory... Why doesn't United just build another stadium next to RFK or remodel RFK?
Doesn't someone have a stadium FAQ sitting around on their hard drive? Can you post it so Riz can paste it into the first post? I could have sworn we did this before. Or did we never get around to it?
We should use the binary system for numbering these threads. There are only 10 types of people, those who understand binary and those who don't. As far as obligatory stadium talk goes.....didn't we already build at Poplar Point?
The elevators aren't ready yet. During the interim, the team should play on a barge in the Anacostia or Potomac(to be closer to Virginia).
Yeah I hope Mr. Chang has that app on his phone. 0% off Soccer Specific Stadium... expires in 2y, 30d, 23h, 18m.
New thread! Here we go again! [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3MXiTeH_Pg"]Whitesnake - Here I Go Again - YouTube[/ame]
What, the old hammer and chisel isn't working? I'm sure I have some early stadium posts in cuneiform lying around the house somewhere. Haven't we been talking this shite since they actually used Roman numerals? You know, back when they were called just "numerals"...
Took in my first and to date only game at RFK during your guys game on the 10th against KC. It was really interesting to see the original of all the concrete donut clone stadiums up close. It was also amazing to see just how "old" RFK stadium is compared to its last remaining slightly younger siblings in Oakland and San Diego. The seats in particular were just amazing to see, are they wood? That said you guys do a great job with what you have and you should be proud. Your supporters group looked great and the crowd was very lively, far more so than I thought it would be given the size of the stadium.
If I recall correctly, Bootsy had compiled it but I don't recall seeing it posted. I am more than happy to edit my first post in here with the FAQ if someone has it.
