hmm.. maybe 15,000 tickets at 19% off is better than 10,000 at full price?

There's also a chance that every MLS team will have a 2nd SSS before DC ever gets one.

Hmm ... relocation ... No matter how bad things get, they can still get worse

That's not much of an argument against cheaper tickets.

    That is unfortunate and unavoidable.

DC's gotta one up that and advertise 2013 tickets being 20% more expensive than 2012.

This new stadium information I see posted is total fabrication.

You CAN use credit cards to buy food at the vendors inside the stadium.

Next year, you'll be able to sign electronic food poisoning waivers via smart phone too.

Totally unnecessary; you agree to those waivers when taking possession of a ticket or entering RFK. No one reads the fine print these days. . . ;)

That's why I stick to the beer. Sure, you'll still get sick, but at least there'll be a bit of happy in there.

    And also lots of peeing.

The history of the DC United deserves a specific soccer stadium in Washington District !!!!

Thank you for the kind words! It would be interesting to see DC United play Napoli in a friendly match, if Napoli would come to the US for pre-season matches.

I'd love to travel to a DC United match somewhere nice (somewhere I can vacation before and after the match). Would be cool to rep the team's color and flags at a foreign stadium.

Montreal was pretty nice...Vancouver too I would think.

A few years back EdTheRed saw the team play in Chile, which is badass.

Richmond can be pretty exotic around April - June

Spent a week and a half in Canada for the Montreal game. Family had a blast! Montreal, Ottawa and Quebec City were great. Only bad part was DC United's performance for that game.

What, Toronto not exotic enough for you?

We had a good time sightseeing...The International Salsa Congress being at our hotel this past visit was also a nice touch.

If we can qualify for CONCACAF Champions League, we could have a nice trip to one of the Carribean Islands. Also, although I've never been to Central America, I understand that Costa Rica, in particular is quite nice.

And there's always the possibility of a nice pre season tour. In '98 the club traveled to Asia and played in Japan and Korea. Also, I believe we traveled to Spain a few years ago and played Getafe.

Thohir has pretty much hinted that this team will be traveling to Indonesia in the offseason. I don't know if it'll happen this year, that sort of thing might take time to plan. But definitely expect that in the near future.

Also maybe DC should set something up with Rapid Vienna. They have a winter break I believe and that's during our offseason. Most likely it won't be in Vienna though, since the Austrian winter is pretty brutal. The cold country teams in Europe usually travel to the Mediterranean during their winter breaks for training. Maybe a friendly with Vienna in January in Cyprus or Greece.

Or they could join us in Florida training camp too

Assuming the FO is smart enough (?) to keep Bosko and Salihi on the roster they, as former Rapid Vienna teammates, could act as tour guides.
