A glossy magazine called "DC" arrives every month, unbidden and unpaid for. It's mostly full of restaurant reviews and grip and grin pictures of people no one has ever heard of, but this month there is a short article about DC United on page 70, by Jeff Dufour. It profiles Jason Levien, one of the new owners, who has experience in DC (law firm and the Clinton White House), plus experience operating and partially owning sports franchises. The article says he is the new ownership's point man for getting the stadium deal done. He certainly talks the talk.

The Crew are advertising 2013 season tickets being 19% cheaper than 2012. I'm not saying, I'm just saying...

Yeah, but the games are in Columbus. (And the Crew plays in every single one of them.)

There's also the slim chance they get a second SSS built before DC gets one.
