Re: Stadium News and Speculation XXIV: In Buzzard We Trust? These rookie BS.com people don't know that it is much easier to just come out with a totally ridiculous supposition, then read the responses, which are never original and usually cover the old information with a zeal not found in previous posting. BTW, and not to change topics, but I'm too lazy to put it in the correct thread, the team really should think about trading Najar for Rogers. Let's face it, if last Saturday's game isn't enough proof that Najar has max'ed out, then obviously you don't know anything about the game.
Re: Stadium News and Speculation XXIV: In Buzzard We Trust? I agree completely. I think it'd be a better idea to send him somewhere and then, only if he improves, bring him back when he can be useful to us.
Re: Stadium News and Speculation XXIV: In Buzzard We Trust? Yeah, and how about the same for that Davies guy. Two goals last weekend, and what has he done since?
Re: Stadium News and Speculation XXIV: In Buzzard We Trust? Who is this Davies guy I see him in the press all the time now?
Re: Stadium News and Speculation XXIV: In Buzzard We Trust? They have fenced off the old convention site. Guess they will be breaking ground any day now.
Re: Stadium News and Speculation XXIV: In Buzzard We Trust? Currently scheduled April 4. The developer is itching to go forward- we just closed on the land transfer this week.
Re: Stadium News and Speculation XXIV: In Buzzard We Trust? I'd like to give a special shout-out to Kevin Payne and BaltimoreSoccerFan for providing the Fort with the fodder for their Baltimore United sign last night. Thanks folks. That's just awesome.
Re: Stadium News and Speculation XXIV: In Buzzard We Trust? the banner was a fail. it was announced on tv that it was made by baltimore based dc united fans
Re: Stadium News and Speculation XXIV: In Buzzard We Trust? A rare instance of Dave Johnson not knowing what the hell he was talking about. That was clearly a taunt. Whatever, if a banner is raised in a stadium with no one there to see it, does it really matter?
Re: Stadium News and Speculation XXIV: In Buzzard We Trust? I blame CSN for not having a crew at the match and using the New England feed.
Re: Stadium News and Speculation XXIV: In Buzzard We Trust? HAHAHA that is awesome, and no it wasn't me! And LOL at people calling me lazy for not reading through thousands of internet posts, you think thats work...research LMAO! Thats called a waste of my time. The truth is I could actually ask the mayor or any one of the politicians I know what the situation is in person, and have actually done so previously. Not that you all are interested in facts. But generally there is more important stuff to be discussed when I meet with them on a rare occasion. I was simply hoping I would get some intelligible responses from DC fans...my mistake.
Re: Stadium News and Speculation XXIV: In Buzzard We Trust? "I don't know how to put this...but I'm kind of a big deal"
Re: Stadium News and Speculation XXIV: In Buzzard We Trust? Yeah, no way in hell that was made by DC United supporters. Speaking of - I find it interesting that our recent troll fails to mention under his name that he supports DC United. Telling, to be sure.
Re: Stadium News and Speculation XXIV: In Buzzard We Trust? Senor Baltimore, Your city is truly lovely, indeed charming, one might say. And I'm sure playing soccer there is a real Blast. Maybe you could ask the mayor or another of your very important friends to ask their very important friends in DC to help build us a stadium. We sure would appreciate it. Thanks in advance. Sincerely, asitis
Re: Stadium News and Speculation XXIV: In Buzzard We Trust? Alright, look. You're an idiot, and you're being a jackass. I tried to enlighten you with some advice, but clearly your need for attention outweighs your good sense. You appear to be a fan of yourself first and foremost. Enjoy talking to yourself. Plonk. Ps. There are just 3 people on my ignore list. THREE. On ALL of Bigsoccer. If that doesn't signal to you that you have a problem, good luck.
Re: Stadium News and Speculation XXIV: In Buzzard We Trust? I actually thought he knew exactly what it was and turned it on its head.
Re: Stadium News and Speculation XXIV: In Buzzard We Trust? You must be one of those important trolls.
Re: Stadium News and Speculation XXIV: In Buzzard We Trust? I thought I heard him pause just a tic before making up a story that would work on TV. You know, it takes a whole lot of chutzpah and a lack of irony to taunt United about playing 30 miles from DC when your own team plays 30 miles from Boston. At least we have a train that goes there. (not on weekends, but.. .)
Re: Stadium News and Speculation XXIV: In Buzzard We Trust? getting back to the matter at hand. Ran the National, took yet another long good look at that open space smack dab in the middle of Buzzard Point. It's just perfect.
Re: Stadium News and Speculation XXIV: In Buzzard We Trust? All of those Coast Guard/Homeland Security people don't like me driving over there all of the time.
Re: Stadium News and Speculation XXIV: In Buzzard We Trust? I'm not sure what he was trying to accomplish unless he felt he had to say something and thought that was the least-embarrassing-to-the-club option, even if it might mislead casual viewers.
Re: Stadium News and Speculation XXIV: In Buzzard We Trust? Hey, we had one of those once. Name was Nakamura. Remember him Brings back fond memories of ancient stadium threads.
Re: Stadium News and Speculation XXIV: In Buzzard We Trust? Dear Baltimore friend, The problem wasn't with your question, really. The question alone would have gotten some lazy replies, but also some actual information. It was the smug, assholishness of the comments surrounding your question. Lazy? a bit. Are you an asshole? Almost definitely. The reply yesterday was priceless, thanx for the belly laugh. Just because you live on the street outside the door the mayor goes in for work and you say hi to him each morning because of that, does not make you a friend of the mayor
