Excellent! Now it's your responsibility to convince this man that the Sud is one whole curva, no tiers, no nothing. THIS is what we want, and nothing less. "When you come out it's like being born, every time, the only difference is there aren't that many people applauding when you are born" -Jurgen Klopp

Some rumours appearing that Starwood will take over the hotel development (called Convivium), and also agreement of sort with "Fratelli la Bufala" for a big restaurant in the food court.
So apparently, a Roma Ultra made a video of exactly what he wants in the new stadium. Pretty interesting!
Rome mayor, Marino: "We have built a sort of steering committee coordinated the Councillor for Urban Planning Caudo, it is working and I think that in the next few weeks the project will be 'build-able', I can promise that the timetable will be strict and rigorous."
You know what is a d!ck move? Showing renders of the new Curva Sud with smoke and flares, when you are planning on not allowing them in the new stadium.
You know how it is man , it's all english model in this! sky high prices so the poor folks can't get in , no flares , no smokes , no standing area. Just sit there and enjoy the show , wouldn't want you to support the team.
They're probably making the assumption that those crafty ultras will find a way to get that stuff in anyway.
This killed British football, been to a few premiership and championship games over here and although the chants are there, and there are some sections (like at Stamford Bridge's Mathew Hardings Stand) where there is a bit of an atmosphere, nothing, nothing, nothing like our Curva, sure there's chants but a Curva Sud without smoke and flares is like The Terminator without his leather jacket — it's got no edge.
Killed English football? C'mon man last I checked EPL had the most followers world wide, most expensive tv contracts, highest matchday revenues and was considered by many the best league in the world. We on the other hand for all the atmosphere we offer barely scrap 38k average attendance per year.
You can have good attendance and a good atmosphere, it's not one or the other, We need a wall, it's simple to me.
Not that I disagree with your point, but most English teams don't have a stadium capacity of more than 38k.
Aren't you the one complaining that you want Roma to win the scudetto, no more second place? How do you want to compete with the richer clubs?
