Woo! That made me laugh though...teams from Europe always seem to be boggled by how long it takes to fly one end of the country to the other...and they only did half of that on the last tour. The heat and humidity in the summer here is a standard part of the MLS season that catches people unexpectedly too. The visa issues are all about how bogged down our visa process has become too.
Soccer-Newcastle assistant Carver fined for McManaman clash. Surprised they didn't stick him with a touchline ban because we're NUFC. Via NUFC.Com: Thx, Jay!
The cats better not be black, otherwise I don't really have an issue with them. Then again, I'm using early MLS and our Bananarama change kits as a barometer of bad kits.
I could deal with the white one, maaaaaaaaybe. But that Teal one needs to be torched and the person who designed it fired. Not a fan of the color or the lines.
According to this prize money chart, in 2013 Newcastle will make €4.4m from the Europa League and will probably make around €5m from the Premier League. Last season we made around €14m just from just the Prem. UEFA Prize Money - Rhapsody In Blue
Interesting table at the end of a rather uninteresting Crossing Broad blog: http://www.crossingbroad.com/2013/05/youre-going-to-cry-when-this-cute-kid-scores.html We would have went down if shots that hit the woodwork went in instead. Thx, Jay!
WTF? Leave it to a stupid spurs fan. Where is the "if shots that I wanted to go in had counted and EPL refs weren't complete shite" table at?
I believe there was one last year that showed Liverpool winning the league, that some mental fans claimed showed how great Dalglish was. Of course such tables don't take into account how different those games would have been had those shots gone in.
Except it's the away shirt. So the highlighter kit is probably the third? Also, we won the league! ...for long-ball play.
