wow those look sick!! sadly ours doesn't look the best with the black/blue combo. maybe if the shield was on a all black or blue background it would look better. I can already see the Ultras wearing these at away games and having a platoon of security guards around them.
I think the blue and black looks just fine. And another good thing is that not one part of "San Jose Earthquakes" had a hole through it, which was the case of about every other mask. For instance, most of "Sounders" was obliterated by the holes. Anyone know exactly what they are made of? Some type of plastic I guess, but, how sturdy? Not flimsy 99 cent halloween mask plastic I hope.
Neat idea, would certainly be scary to see a bunch of Jason-looking masked fans staring at you. I love that song, I wish the Ultras would use that classic chant, it's just so good.
The masks look OK. The website is crap. Absurdly resource heavy, slow as all get out, and it's hard to figure out where to put the mouse to make it stop moving. Which makes it hard to use. Just garbage that. Still, it might be cool to have a bunch of folks wearing the masks, but it would suck if it was just one or two. Go Quakes!! - Mark
Machetes, swords, and knives not included. Some people here could try and paint those masks themselves... more mass marketing with the Warface...
They're out of stock for all clubs. How do they expect to sell any of these if they don't keep them any in stock.
What makes you think there was any stock int the first place? Looks like they spent all their development funds on that web site. Now all their masks are sitting in a crate in China waiting for a final payment before they get loaded on a ship.
Not my cup of tea ! Just the thought of seen people wearing these mask at a any soccer game... bleh !
After finally navigating through all the crap, I have to say I am underwhelmed. Do they really think people are going to want to walk around with hockey masks? This has to be one of the dumbest ideas ever.
That's one way to fill the stadium with mannequins wearing these masks to pad up the attendance and make it look better on TV. Wait, they already did?
From a frumpy middle-aged woman's perspective, I think they seem kinda cool. Not that I would ever want one since they seem like they'd be very annoying and uncomfortable. But I wouldn't mind at all seeing some people with them in the supporters section. I think they've been around for years south of the border, right?
WOW!!! so I did a search on my own company and I see this BLOG. Let me introduce myself. I am the president of WARFACE by Design. I am so pleased to see that you all have seen the product and we are pleased to see how excited the fans are for WARFACE this year. To answer some of the outstanding questions in the blog.... A) yes we are currently out of stock on MOST teams. This is because of high demand on what we had in stock. Also, we are currently still in production mode for the 2010 MLS season. Most teams already have WARFACE on stock at their Team Store and San Jose will have them available in March before the season kickoff. B) the mask is made of a durable plastic. It is not very flimsy it is not the "cheap halloween mask". It does not have that flexible rubber feeling. C) We do understand that the current internet site does not present the product or the company very well. We hope that you understand that this is an interim site and a new website is currently under construction. it will be released within the next 2-3 weeks. Thank you all for the fantastic feedback. We look forward to seeing you all at the games. PUT YOUR WARFACE ON!!
SAN JOSE WARFACE IS NOW IN STOCK. I can have them shipped before your opening game. www.warfacebydesign.com and you ca see the actual mask on our facebook page. just search WARFACE by Design
