I agree, i think Pamarot is better at centre back. Jol has said he expects Wayne back in training within a month but he has also said it is a injury that could keep him out until the end of the season.
Yeah but Jol said this on the 2nd of November... “Wayne is doing well,” said Head Coach Martin. “He’s coming back in three or four weeks and he will give Aaron Lennon and Teemu Tainio good competition for places." http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/article.asp?hlid=322027 Has anything else happened since?
http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/article.asp?hlid=326286 Routledge is back in training and could be available for selection in the Wigan game next week.
http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/article.asp?hlid=330601 Looks like our injury problems are really easing.
It does look that way. Do you lot remember the Gerry Francis days when it seemed like every one of our players was injured! Gerry kept saying that it had nothing to do with his deadly training techniques. German-Bull Crap!
King will face a late fitness test for tomorrow's game against Newcastle. Can't find the link that said it though.
If we call off tomorrows game and then rearrange it for next month then he will have a late fitness test http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/article.asp?hlid=349067 Tainio a doubt, King and Reid definitely out.
from Sky on Lee's injury -- "Spurs' night was marred by an injury to Korean full back Lee Young-Pyo, who was caught by a late tackle from City's David Sommeil. Referee Alan Wiley missed the incident as it occurred shortly after a rash tackle on Joey Barton by Michael Brown. "Lee said it was the worst tackle ever - and I believe him," said Jol. "It looked a bit horrific. I can understand why the referee missed it because he was focused on the first tackle. My only problem is that Lee has bad bruising on his knee and will probably be out for a couple of weeks."" I wonder if the FA will act on video footage -- I missed the tackle, hope he is only out a couple of weeks...
Mido better be careful not to risk anything, he is saying he thinks he will be playing in the next Egypt game.
Anyone have more word on Mido's injury? Been hoping it is not that serious. The rest of the season certainly depends on it.
I doubt it is to serious, when he gets back i would imagine he would be fit to play unless he does something stupid like play the next game even if he is carrying a knock.
Reid out 4-6 Weeks And so it begins ... http://home.skysports.com/list.asp?hlid=359687&CPID=8&clid=&lid=2&title=Reid+blow+for+Spurs The 2 midfielders we sent to Portsmouth made a lot of sense. But also sending Brown away and Routledge on loan ... made me dread this very sort of thing. I knew it would happen. Now we're forced into playing people who haven't hardly trained with the club. Back are the days of disjointed passing, fearing sicknotes, and living week-to-week. If we had kept Brown, this would be a minor blip on the radar screen. As it is, we'll have to cobble together lineups without any chemistry. It's this very sort of thing that ticks me off. -Digital
