from the Independent: "TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR Martin Jol has warned Wayne Routledge could be out for the rest of the season with injury. The Spurs physiotherapist has ruled out Routledge for at least two more months but Jol is not so optimistic. "It is a difficult injury. He could be out for the season," the manager said. Routledge suffered a stress fracture of his foot on the opening day of the season. Jol praised Aaron Lennon who has played in Routledge's absence. "He [Lennon] has got the potential to be a big player," he said." damn
Never fear Jaymes. You once told you have a passing resemblance to Stalteri. You can kidnap Paul, kill him and place him in the boot of your car. Then drive down to the nearest body of deep water, and, after slicing his belly open so the gases don't bring his bloated corpse to suface a week later, lob him into a watery grave. You could be back at his place in an hour or so and nobodywould be any the wiser. Just, ya know, something to ponder on.
....'tis true my good friend. The only problem is that I am a bit taller and I don't have his honk-honk nose either. It also sounds like you have done this before? Is that why you row a boat? To make sure the body doesn't rise from the depths?
I heard someone closely connected to Spurs got drunk on monday night, fell over in the street and damaged their knee. Out for several weeks. Oh wait, that was me
Here is the current injury list update at Spurs... Player Injury Return Date Carrick Ankle 15th Oct 05 Gardner Thigh 20th Nov 05 Dawson Hamstring 15th Oct 05 Routledge Stress fractured foot 22nd Oct 05 Pamarot Knee 15th Oct 05 No news on Lee, so we can expect him back in the next game against Everton. As we have an internation break now, Carrick, Dawson, and Lee should be back from injury for the Everton smashing.
They reckon only 10 days now. He's not in the Egypt squad and should have recovered for the Everton game.
Noe back in training: http://home.skysports.com/list.asp?hlid=314107&CPID=8&clid=&lid=2&title=Noe+returns+to+training Stalteri head blow not serious: http://home.skysports.com/list.asp?hlid=314103&CPID=8&clid=&lid=2&title=Welcome+break+for+Stalteri Glad to hear for both of them. Can't see Noe back in the squad anytime soon, but good to have him as an option and back healthy by the end of the month
I can only see him playing as a centre back now. I thought he looked good as a centre back the few times he played their last season.
....he did look fairly solid at centre-half. I would play him with King ahead of Gardner, Naybet, and sometimes, even Dawson. He can also time his headers to perfection.
http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/article.asp?hlid=323700 Pamarot is back after completing 90 minutes in the reserves. According to the other players he is one of the nicest person you could meet. They also say no one has bigger thighs than him not even Roberto Carlos. Now we have 3 right backs and 5 centre backs.
When is Wayne Routledge back?? Goodness me he's been out for a long time. So long in fact, that when he returns, it'll be like a new signing!
