Blimey, I thought the 1st division would jump at the chance of having them. Would have thought it would be a big payoff for them

Well it could seen as several ways: One they are pissed about how Rangers conducted business. Two, they see it as a chance to gain promotion. Three, they know they will have to pay the cops extra on match days. Fourth, they will have to rearrange the fixtures so there isn't a conflict with Celtic games.

i hope u mean female? female tennis is pretty wack, she onl;y dominates due to superior power and strength, henin was much more naturally gifted

u cannot compare serena williams to the men, she would get smashed by any top 100 male

I meant female, and Serena is more naturally gifted than Hardin, I dont think any follower of the game would say Henin is a more natural than Serena. Serena is the most naturally gifted player ever.

She grew up playing tennis on public courts with her dad who never played the game. To get to where she has gotten in the sport is all about natural gift and ability, its crazy to say Henin is more naturally gifted than her. Henin def took the sport more seriously, in her prime, than Serena did but she is not anywhere near the natural that Serena is.

of course, I would smash her[IMG]

but nah, Im not arguing she would beat any men. It was a misunderstanding.

I think a lot of people would argue that Henin was more talented Serena. I'm not saying that I'm necessarily one of them, but there would be a lot of takers in that arguement.

    Man, this is killin' Phishy.

Serena isnt all brute force. If she was, she would be out the game right now. Serena is 30 years old and is still best player in the world even with her athleticism diminishing.

She isnt all brute force at all, the woman is a complete natural.

I dont see it, I do believe Henin had more finesse to her game and was more hard working but Serena's talent is unmatched.

as for Phishy, lol he mad

So, you gonna go ahead and start a tennis thread or are we counting on me to come up with some witty title? Be warned, it'll probably be about balls or something.

Actually, you should start the thread at the same time a new OTT is established. That way we can see which sport are Arsenal fans really passionate about. My suggestion for title would be "In Brooklyn Decker we trust: the Arsenal Tennis Thread".

If they don't have them now, they'll have them on the way up, and one more of them will get promoted in the meantime.

I have a feeling that their motives have more to do with the possibility that they get footed the bill for bailing out Rangers if they just let them back into the first division.

This way the message is clear: you're on your own.
